What if upgrading your weapons did more than just straight damage up and instead gave you new or better moves (for example maybe you get a 3 hit combo or a followup for a normal R2, etc.). Also, what if you could get gems that increased different aspects of your weapon i.e. gems that make your attacks faster, have better range, etc? Maybe this would have to be weapon specific since it would make some weapons way stronger than they already are.

I feel like this would going through the game and upgrading your weapon would actually feel like progression rather than just more damage.

What's a good ratio of SKL/ARC if i wanna use weapons like the rapier, bom, scythe etc?

You don't need a lot of end on a reiter character because your bullets don't cost stamina and you can't combo in pvp regardless.

25 blt won't be enough for the chikage to be a viable secondary. Stick to skl weapons.

Since she doesn't just keep talking in the background as you level, and you have to mash X to get through her dialog, it's just faster to just attack her. She'll just moan, crumple at your feet, then you can still channel echoes without needing to mash through the dialog before and after you do what you need.

It's just faster and more efficient. She'll be up and talking the next time you come back anyway.

micolash is so fucking gay. his bossfight is fucking retarded. im on NG+4, have full choir gear, damage reduction runes, +10% max health with 60 vit and if i get hit ONCE by his fucking call beyond im dead. 100%, 2000 damage from one hit. the second phase of his boss fight is fucking pure luck if you win or not based on if he feels like forcing you to lose or not.

Stay on him, be mindful of how narrowly you're trying to slip behind him otherwise you'll get caught. when he jumps roll in the opposite direction he was facing at the last second, don't roll or run away, roll under him. if he's spazzing out and you get hit your best bet is to dodge towards him on your recover. dunno what to tell you for the lightening move, the pizza cutter can stagger him alright so tanking the hit and hitting him with the saw for regain and stagger to give time for a vial was my method.

It's slow in both forms, consumes a lot of stamina and does really poor damage. The moveset is also pretty poor, particularly the dodge R1s and the transform attacks.

It has serration, which means it eventually does decent damage against beasts, but it's probably the worst serrated weapon in the game both in terms of dps, damage/staminacost/speed ratio and pvp viability

You don't need to constantly do anything. The pizza cutter nearly maxes out the beast meter with a simple 3 hit combo, all you need to do at that point is just poke him when he comes down and you'll pull 800-1000 AR with one hit.

Try to build the meter right before he enters kosms given: 0 mode if you want to play more cautiously.

Whirligig is only really good on STR build thanks to beast blood pellets. You will miss like 100 AR on arcane version compared to simple 50STR from what i remember as well. LHB only goes to like 800 AR on arcane builds compared to 1000 on physical ones.
Church pick is very good for arc build, but you still need to dump like 5 levels to get it.

Just fight him in the water, genius. The lightning always starts at the body of Kos. If you fight in the water and look at the body, you can just casually walk around the lightning waves because of how spread out they are by the time they get out there.
