I wasn't here last thread to see all that but I read most of it and the pictures.

I somehow understand why most people here are still mad by the muskets. The characters from the game displays such power that they don't care about minor things. But that's a gameplay standpoint.

DC Universe. DBZ and a lot of series were almost almighty entities exist in every corner is cancer, there's no way you could tell a good story if every character is an overpowered fuck.
The ones from /co/ will kill me but; what the hell were they thinking when The Flash outruns Death itself and went outside of time, technically "destroying Death"? That's just nonsensical. It adds up bullshit upon bullshit and everything blows itself and start again. That's NOT a good story telling, but the fans don't care, they saw flashy lights and overpowered demigods throwing planets around.

Now, for a narrative standpoint, there are a few ones that treat the thing like Edgy. I'll mention Ghost Sweeper Mikami as my example.

Change "Spiritual" for "Magical" or whatever you want to call it for MGQ. That's the standpoint. Sure, End-Game Luka could avoid the bullet, but the bullet will pierce his body anyway if he isn't able to avoid it. Will he die for that? Of course not; he'll run away and meditate and heal himself, but he'll get hit. The blasts of energy are easily tanked because Luka himself is a walking supernova in terms of Magical Power. But his body is still human.

After Astaroth Arc, both Yokoshima and Mikami were overpowered as fuck yet still they could be rendered useless if something nullified their Spiritual Powers or just a blunt attack without fancy tricks.

They are, because it's way harder to dodge something as quick as a musket shot than an arrow. Plus the high ranked angels could stop arrows by grabbing them with some sort of telekinesis magic, but since the musket balls are too quick to react to they can't stop them. That's what I understood, at least. It wasn't specifically stated from what I remember.

I mean even if you look at it from an angel's perspective, you'd still be dealing with something completely new you can't figure out how to fight against. The closest thing they know of is a bow and they were used to those for centuries. Can't change centuries of tactics in the span of a few days.

I actually had a brief period where I was seriously planning on writing one. It was going to be of a similar caliber, a fantasy epic of some description. I actual did about three chapters for it, and in my opinion at least they were fairly solid.

I never uploaded them obviously. I felt that it would be kinda dickish to infringe on edgy's territory. A part of me felt it would be good to have more writefags and maybe a less edgy alternative to sacred and profane but he is the resident writefag, I didn't want to be that guy that comes and panders for people to read my story instead.

I was always interested in what would happen after the end of MGQ, more on the political side. Society would have to be completely reconstructed after the war, I was going to write about that. More cannon that edgy's I guess.

Just write it. At worst nothing happens. At best people will get curious over seeing a story that isn't half a million words long and will read it, and if they like it they'll read other stuff like mine. Everyone wins.

It won't even be similar since mine deviates massively from part 2's ending onwards. With all the fluff I added, at this point S&P could be its own independent thing only using MGQ as a setting. MGQ might as well be the a prologue fanfic to my stuff if we went by amount of story and worldbuilding in both works. You have no reason to not write what you want now.

Humans are turned into livestock for the monsters. Angels valiantly try to save humans but the holy energy seal leaves them too weak. Most Angels are devoured by monsters, quickly resulting in their extinction, and further empowering their devourers.

"Coexistence" also quickly leads to the near-extinction of humans. Recognizing the plight, monster leaders preserve a small number of human women as breeding vessels to keep the human livestock population manageable.

Chimeric research eventually creates more efficient "human" women breeding vessels, by splicing them with the Beelzebubs, which birth large numbers of male offspring that reach shota status within weeks instead of years. Accelerated maturity prevents intellectual faculties from developing properly, so the slave shotas are the perfect simple obedient fodder for monsters. They are even bred in quantities large enough to satisfy predators who want to eat them outright.

Humanity becomes mere livestock to provide semen and meat to the monster overlords, no longer possessing the intelligence or independence needed to desire free will. The shotas are raised to only desire to be food and semen pumps for monsters. For their simple minds, this is a blissful short existence.

Humans can at least fight in Paradox. The main MGQ timeline ones are boned. No Tartarus dark energy letting humans use magic and, worse, the holy seal means even the Angels on the surface can't win. Heck, the Angels already lost.
