A Grand Servant is some orders of magnitude over other servants.

They're something that can naturally fight against planet wide threats, or threats to all life.

If a normal servant is anti-person, then a Grand servant is anti-planet.

Comparing a Grand Servant to other servants might be too much; Solomon can stop the rotation of the planet, erase all prana in the world, come back to life at will, summon himself from the Throne at will, control 72 demons each stronger than servants, his NP is a billion Excaliburs, blah blah.

He's not something you can fight normally, MC's gotta level up a lot now to stand a chance. Their only saving grace is that Solomon is just doing this shit for fun, so he let them live to see what would happen. He just decided to wipe out humanity because after 2000 years, they still had not conquered the planet and made it to space or conquered death, they're still bitches that haven't gotten on his level.

Not everyone has money to throw away and with time-limited and limited rate ups it isn't always easy to save.
I haven't had bad rolls from singles, I got 3 5*s from it and a slew of 4*s and I have a crapton of 5* star CEs (including two Twices).

and all in all I haven't spent a huge sum of quartz either, I got lucky basically and have spent way fewer quartz than I think most people have or atleast basically the same as any other F2P (not finished a fair of bit of the game either).

I think there is a trade off for cost, at what the singles got me for how much I would have spend if every single roll I did was 40 quartz rolls and knowing that there are people who have spent massive amounts for very little in return compared to spending very little amounts at a time.
