Honestly, for the medals from the first game, I'd stick with the American ones. There isn't any difference in quality (they're both plastic discs with stickers on them), but the Japanese ones put the copyright information on the art, which looks pretty ugly - the American versions put them on the underside of the medal instead.

I originally just wanted Hakai's medal for the Kaima jingle but ended up throwing in a bunch more that I've been wanting. Rakuten can be expensive but it's totally worth it when you're just trying to get the ones you want and not full boxes.

Super disappointed that the only Kageorochi they had was his finisher medal but at least I could pick up Hikariorochi for that order.

So my HLJ sale haul arrived today. I'm pretty happy with the loadout, considering that it cost like $20 shipped. That just leaves Ogama, Enraenra, and Karakasa-Majin - I guess it's time for me to fall down the Rakuten rabbit hole.

Come to think of it, have we thought to establish some sort of medal-trading system around here? It seems like a lot of folks have duplicates. Hell, I'm willing to pretty much give away the Z-medals in this picture, since I'm only after the koten medals.

Just got some medals and big-butt Komasan in the mail today. Since the Fumi Watch's package had 'Z' and a bunch of exclamation points on it, I thought maybe the colored medals would work. They don't and I feel stupid for not knowing moon.

Komasan might be a knockoff due to his monge-sized ass, but I love him anyway.

The individual blind bags tell you what watches are compatible with the medals in that series. I could check when I'm back home but if I recall correctly, Fumi's watch only works with the same medals Keita's watch reads, the zero watch only reads zero medals, and a prototype u watch can read all the previously released medals plus the green ones that don't have an U in their sticker and the older (chapter 1-2, some of 3) buster medals.

I'm still pissed that Whisper doesn't say "Whis~" in the English version, It feels out of place seeing as it's kinda part of his character.

The voice is perfect however.

I remember because it looked out of place.

It's like the dub is handled by a huge group of people who do NOT keep in contact with each other. One half is trying to be faithful to the series and the other half is 4Kids employees.

the actual level to try and take on Infinite Inferno is about the mid-50s. I believe that at the Floor before McKracken's recolor fight, there's a bloominoko that could spawn and grants 20k exp if you defeat it. You could just grind up EXP there, bout you'll have to bash through a couple of bosses.

I found out that you actually can do this but it doesn't actually sound like the Mitomen. You just have to slide the medals in and out so the watch reads it as an error instead. And it may be inferior but it's still better than anything BoA would have shit out. Hasbro did a goddamn good job on it and apparently they've got plans to add the flashlight back in for the Type Zero if it ever happens. Though as pleased as I am with the US watch I really wish it had a goddamn on/off switch. And for it to be quieter.

So I've been looking into Busters a little more, and found something interesting.
It looks like certain skills (X, Y slots) can be swapped around for at least 2 other skills, thus replacing dodging skills with more offense, or make a healer go for the offensive.
Also Lord Emna is overpowered as hell. Whatever his ability is grants him Guts over time along with reduced damage intake.
