Unmaxed mods and future formas needed aside, is this Chroma build headed in the right direction? I've been taking it through sorties and solo survivals with good results, but any mistakes in it would be good to know now rather than when I get around to putting more forma on it.

I'm mainly concerned with eventually maxing out blind rage; is it worth the power strength? Should I swap it for intensify and deal with the lower armor gain, or make room for streamline in there somewhere?

Just did the quest to recover Orokin archive for the Archwing and nearly got my shit pushed in by Lynx and the heavy gunner corpus people that can knock you away and take no damage. Still using all the MK1 gear from tutorial on Volt and I realize I should not continue this questline until I get better gear.

Is the Latron a decent upgrade? I'm not sure of chronological order of weapon add dates and only Rank 2. Would also like to know if Seer is worth bullying Vor multiple times for parts and if it is an okay secondary since kunai does jack shit.

for a number of reasons, gone into at great length and with more detail and proof in the past, it almost always boils down to two builds:

Corrosive + Heat for anything with armor (almost any Archwing including Corpus, Grineer without 4x Corrosive Projection, most bosses), and Infested (because the total Infested flesh HP is nothing compared to the Fossilized shit you have to deal with and Gas is a garbage element for several technical reasons) and remember that the less armor an enemy has while still having any, the more damage you will get from using the damage types to which those armor types are most vulnerable

Viral + Heat for anything else (unarmored Grineer, pretty much always for Corpus, unarmored bosses) because the base damage multiplier is amazing, and the proc can almost halve your time to kill on a target or group of targets

Heat tends to have decent multipliers, a short CC, and a stacking DoT, but it is generally only a luxury element - for the most part you should be concerned with doing the most damage against armored targets by removing it via procs and hitting for the highest multiplier (almost always Corrosive, can be Radiation if you want to prioritize Alloy armored heavy targets but this is generally not ideal)

Radiation + Viral makes a decent alternative if for some reason you think you will not be able to strip armor or you know you are facing a single target like a boss with Alloy armor, or of course the two enemies in the game who have Infested Sinew HP and are susceptible to Radiation but only if you completely remove their Ferrite armor first

ignore shitter traps like Gas damage, and the Magnetic + Toxin combo for corpus, and try to understand the math behind why certain things are better choices than others rather than blindly relying on infographics and charts or smartass shitposters like me

Has anyone had any luck getting the Helios/Deconstructor to do any decent damage?

It seems to be a buggy mess in it's current state, sometimes it will just float there and do nothing while I'm surrounded by enemies and other times it will rapid-fire its parts all over the place.

1. Soma Prime is pretty bad to begin with.
Seriously, try killing level 100 heavies with it in a reasonable amount of time and ammo. It's crap.

2. That's not the best build for the bow or the weapon
If you build your Soma correctly you want more status, 90% mods don't help it much, it needs status to strip armor.
If you build for Artemis bow you don't want status as it has bad status to begin with and one shots anything anyway, what you have there is a bad compromise.

3. What weapon is best for Artemis is debatable.
You can of course use any weapon just as a mod carrier if you don't plan to use it but if you really want to there are better options than the Soma.
There is of course Tonkor, of course you don't want Shred on that but I find Artemis to be usable enough without it. Also works with Navigator.
You can use another strong bow like Dread. Works very well with Navigator and the shitton of punch-through charged shots get. A single guided arrow from Dread will also do a lot more damage than a single guided arrow from Artemis.
If you're taking Soma because you want to deal with Nullifiers there are better options.

Because he's pure utility. His abilities would have to be changed functionally to suddenly make him worse. Loki isn't a numbers frame. He's utility and makes up for lack of damage with a gun, which are the best damage dealers 90% of the time anyways.
