I preordered it. The voice acting wasn't in any of the betas and I forgot that it was supposed to be one of its selling points, so it was a surprise when I fired up the game and heard them talking for the first time. They had hyped up their voice cast, but refused to list any of the actors in prerelease materials.

They would've been better off spending the money they budgeted for VAs on programming and a script editor.

It sounds like it did well for them. They sold out of the LE pretty quickly and apparently stock of the first print run of the regular edition is running low and they're going to do another run. It's done pretty well in English too and parade/ClockUp seem pretty happy with its performance judging from some stuff they tweeted a little while ago.

I think it's mostly a matter of them finding the time for another game since parade is just ClockUp. I know Amemiya's been looking for staff recentlyish too.

I played one route. Very funny, the MC is awsome. Too bad best boy only gets a route in the FD. Though the Sugiyama Tsundere is also very cute.
The mini games are fun. I really like them.
I tried playing a second route, but there's very much copy paste so I gave up. Will probably play when I have more time.

If you're considering buying the Vita ports, I wouldn't recommend it. Most of the menus are super blurry and the voices are a bit bad quality. The only thing you'll get out of the Vita port are some larger CGs and sprites.

There should be at least one other anon here that played it, maybe he played all routes and can give you better impressions.

Just get better at ressource management. There shouldnt' be any reason to ever stop leveling in Tourabu. Especially since you normally should be able to level without damaging your swords at all.
Go to a map like 4-3 with tons of ressources and grind there. Try not to activate KBC by evading the boss. If you already actived them, refresh when they pop up.
Use teams that can easily gain sakura status through MVP. Which means no Oodachi/one max., no Iwatooshi, no swords that can't kill in one hit if possible.

There's no number of Kanji you need. You need to know the grammar (either through lots of listening practice or reading grammar guides) and you need some vocabulary.

I've gotten to the point that all of my swords are level cap except for most of my tantou, and my tantou seem to always manage to get themselves hurt no matter where I level them. All of them are above level 60 except for Gotou so I can't level them in the safer areas anymore.

Level Tantous in 6-3. Quit the map after going over the bridge to avoid Yari.
You'll still get some damage from Yari, but it's not very much. I leveled all my Tantou to 99 in there.
