I'm just curious to see how CDPR handles this game and its combat, they couldn't balance for shit in the Witcher games and this game is character creation based so it's going either be one of their greatest feats yet or a laughable disaster. If you wish to express your opinion on Witcher's gameplay, there is the witcher general, right here on /vg/. People will probably love to debate you, militantly disagree with you or chime in. Seeing as Witcher is in no way related or even antagonizing ME for its target audience, there is no real reason to discuss it here. People here that like Witcher may actually like it's combat, but the more valid criticism would be towards its RPG/adventure elements, which are, imho far superior to ME's.

Like I said, though, I much prefer ME as a franchise to The Witcher because the witcher's universe is riddled with unlikable cunts, so far up their ass and too caught up in their own agendas to actually form a bond with Geralt or the audience. I do not care for them and cannot get invested in the franchise for that reason.

While Mass Effect 2 wasn't a bad game, I didn't like it as much as the first one (instead of fixing features, inventory, weapons, armour, the Mako, etc, they just removed them, the story is boring, irrelevant and badly written and the entire game hinges on liking the characters), and the third game was even worse. Sure, the gameplay is good if you're looking for a third-person shooter, but that's not what I'm looking for.
As for the leaks, it could just be lies, hyperbole, or just badly done. I'm waiting until I've actually seen the game, but right now I'm not eagerly waiting for it.
