Because of all the different versions that sometimes worked with other mods and sometimes simply not, they decided to put the CoC version of AO3.1 onto the moddb page of CoC itself. Except moddb (at least the CoC page) seems to have an upload issue, making it impossible to upload the mod to that page until it's fixed.

Even though the guys from AO uploaded some version to Mega, for some reason any comments about uploading the CoC version to mega as well and posting the link on their page gets ignored.

I tried something like that once in CoC, but the game somehow bugged out on me, I instantly died whenever I tried to travel to the NPP due to the PSI field. Couldn't leave Pripyat either due to the PSI field thing bugging out despite me having the helmet thing, so I was basically trapped.

Can everyone play stalker with shadowplay?
I have some trouble playing with shadowplay, especially CoC. It leaves temp files even after I finish playing. In CoC, the mouse cursor can't go bottom.

everything was fine in zaton (regular CoPshit lags/stutter/freezes), but when i got to yanov it's a whole new world of shit. stutters every two steps, crashes when there's too much action and random, opening my inventory takes like 3 seconds (even when empty), zombies spawn in the middle of yanov station, etc...

Figured it out, there's a typo in a ModelPool.cpp file that the fucking logs won't tell me full directory for. Its looking for "dynamics\outfit\merc_scientific_outfit.ogf" when it should be dynamics\outfits\merc_scientific_outfit.ogf"

Since the logs didn't give me the filepath I just made an outfit folder and put the mesh in there.

So first I installed coc 1.2.22 with STCSWP then installed Anon's Mod 2.1 over it and it basically overrode STCSWP in many aspects so I reinstalled it over Anonguy's Mod and so far so good but the dynamic hud is kinda working as in pic.

I'm using the steam version but in my installation folder I don't have a gamedata folder to replace with the ZRP gamedata folder. I read the readme but I couldn't seem to find an answer to my question.

Also, why in AO 3.1 the suits get damage too fast?
Only get shot by .45 can obliterate a bulat armor in only few shots, with only FMJ.

Any fix? (I'm milifag, so, can't go though the zone much without repairs, and forester isn't a real option.

They dont seem to do much damage in most case.
I mean you can tap people out with any 5.45 in 2 secs, but you need like 3-4 slug shots to kill something far away.
Might as well use buckshot instead if I have to get in closer.

Went to Yantar to make some money and it really paid off. Disabled the miracle machine, killed loadsa zombies, got a svarog detector and made two runs of the area's anomalies to sell to the scientist. I'm stuck with two duty quests, one to retrieve a grenade launcher one to retrieve a rifle from mercenaries, both weapons seem gone in my game.

It's my first run of AMK and i'm really feeling like using this for my occasional replay of the game was a terrible idea compared to mods i used in the past or even vanilla. Oh and here is what the update actually does:
Changes for 0.4:
-Fixed up a decent amount of code in faction_brain.script and tried to optimize a little.
-Did away with the "Switch Control" button for faction control. Now just type in the terrain and hit send order and it will mark it.
-If you type in a target that is being manually targeted already it will simply remove that target.
-Added a "Show Targets" button to replace "Switch Control." It shows all owned bases as green, un-owned bases as red, and lairs as white.
-Owned level count now affects how likely you are to spawn an advanced or veteran squad.
-Added a drop down list in the faction control menu above the smart terrain label. Whenever you hit Send Order with a level selected from that list, it will force the AI to target that level IF you own a level that is connected with the target level.
-Added in a "level expansion stages" option in the options folder. What this does is split levels up into sections for expansion instead of targeting the
entire level. I'll be tweaking this system over time as its not quite finished yet but pretty close.
-If you look at the top of faction_brain.script there is a variable called "DISABLE_OFFLINE_INTERCEPTION." By default it is false. Setting it to true will
force offline combat to take place on smart terrains.
-Removed a few target points from Military Warehouses. Added target points to Radar and one to Garbage.
-Changed squad stay requirement for a few bases in Cordon, Garbage, Trucks Cemetery, Bar, Military Warehouses, and probably other places.
If you use the less squads option this won't matter. This and the change above will force your faction to adapt if you're loading old saves, so they'll
have to take some new territory or bolster defenses at some places.
-Squads now run to their targets.

yes i just checked the character_desc_general.xml
it has the same issues. and that moddb version will probably not have any npc's drop ammo. for the same reason the one posted here didn't. before it was fixed, FN2000 upgrades being screwy. etc etc
i'm pretty sure they just re-upped the other one that was taken down. it has the same issues.

you should be 100% ok to use either version of AO3.1 (moddb or the one posted here) they are essentially the same
with the Ammo Drop Fix+Lootable faction patches+ArmMeshes+Fixes posted here.

There is a Secret Trails 2 + AA2 merge by one of the AA2 devs. Check the repo.

You're better off without the merge much as I love AA2 - artifacts lying around like so much candy is a core part of the mod and you won't see them when AA2 adds detectors.

Secret Trails 2 and FOTOGRAF buck the trend and look pretty good by default. They've also got a pretty decent set of non-vanilla guns and gunplay. Just play them straight up.

I want to make the RPG-7 rounds faster, so it works more like a real RPG. Normally to make bullets faster, you'd just change bullet_speed in the weapon's .ltx file, but that doesn't seem to work for the RPG since the rocket is powered independently.

I tried adjusting engine_work_time and engine_impulse in weapons.ltx's OG-7b section, but neither of those seemed to do anything.

It just seems dumb to me that an RPG round should take like 3 seconds to fly 150m. Should be less than half that.

I've played both extensively. The list below outlines things exclusive to AO3. Anything that isn't on this list is the exact same as STCSWP

1. Simpler installation
2. A different knife skin
3. A lot more starting loadouts
4. Every starting loadout has something wrong with it, like guns not having the right ammo
5. Fewer armors
6. About 10 differing weapon models
7. About 10 additional weapons that you will never find / have the ammo for
8. Different footstep sounds
9. Different item icons in the backpack
10. Maybe different NPC loadouts?
11. Faction patches, although someone made a mod 10+ threads ago to add that to STCSWP
12. Instead of some weapons having different reload animations for empty/not empty mags, none of them do

I haven't actually had that problem with the distant gunfire in STCSWP, it sounds fine to me.

I believe the accuracy bar in the backpack is for hipfire. That being said, that and the issue you're complaining about are more stalker issues than mod issues.

I've noticed some really fucked up loadouts in AO3. Pretty much every MP5 has 5.45 ammo and no 9x19 for some reason, and some of the loadouts with pistols have similar problems. There are some problems like this in STCSWP but not as many.

I think the only initial spawns I left untouched were mutant spawns and traders.

I could make a version where you start with only one base (so like rookie village for loners) and then other bases are filled with other factions and mutants, making even the very first level you start on dangerous as shit. I just feel like having (for example) the military at the outpost under the bridge + military outpost in cordon would lead to a very challenging start, since the Army would then see those two bases and try to take the rest of the bases on that level, leading you into immediate conflict.

Currently I'm having a small problem, I cannot hold the entirety of Jupiter, everytime it's nearly entirely conquered, a squad get killed somewhere and when I arrive, there are like 6 or 9 mercenaries walking in the place. I also witnessed a squad abandonning its post and the circle became "red" a few second later. Can one of the optionnals files help ? Like slower respawn or something ?

In retrospect, I think that the mercenary attacks were normal, it was simply an assault coming from the Red Forest. But there were two strange things that seems to be bugs :

-On jup_b205_smart_terrain, the circle went red,then disappeared completely. The squad was "In combat", so I arrived there...and there was nothing happening. I had to call a defense squad to make the circle reappear, and even now, the squad is still marked as "in combat" even if the place is captured and there is nothing happening.

-People at jup_b41 simply vanish from time to time. When I arrived, nobody took their places, there was no monster, and not even their bodies.

Extracting each of the 6 files with more than half a GB each seems a bit excessive.

I'm getting pic related randomly while playing CoC+AO 3

It also happens sometimes with the clear sky scientific suit or the duty scientific suit, however sometimes it loads them fine and the error doesn't pop up so i can play like +2 hours without problems.

Is this something i'm going to have to get used to or is there a way to avoid it?

I wasn't saying its bad, I played a bit of it around 30 minutes or so and deleted it (was showing a friend stalker and got bored since he's a fucking shitter normie)

There are quirks on it though i.e. not knowing that I had a separate flashlight from starting black road, or the fuck ton of items it has, that was quite overwhelming will definitely give it a try again just to fight those weird controllers.

There was a minimod that disabled BTRs in ''cock and balls something something'' file, which was in the CoC last time I checked. I'll upload it to somewhere if it's gone.
