You'll probably like loki when you get to him then. Nova might also be another good one, as you can sit back and prime things, then hit them for double dmg or use AMD to clear a room.
Rhino is kinda tanky (I've not actually tried iron skin post u18), but there are other frames that tank better like ice chroma - though that requires a shitload of maxed r10's

I noticed, thrown meelee is one of my favorite weapons in the entire game, I'm pretty fucking mad.
