Playing P4G, and it's October first. I literally just learned that I was supposed to be doing Adachi's social link this whole time, but I've only got him to rank 2 because he was always busy, but then I learned I fucked up and never went to see him on the very few limited days he was free.

Maxing her link is easy, even if you're behind on time. She's available almost every day in december. When you max her you get a bad dungeon where you lose a third of your current SP everytime a battle ends and you also can't bring any costumes, items or weapons in with you. Thankfully it's pretty easy because every enemy is weak to pretty much everything.

Doing all these things unlocks an epilogue where you go back to town during the summer and see character redesigns and stuff. You don't have to romance Marie, but you might as well because because either way she throws herself on you at valentines and you get to see Rise get real thirsty.

Is it bad if Persona Q is possibly my favorite Persona game?

It's just the perfect mixture of new features that make it less clunky while still being primarily focused on dungeon crawling.

I mean I know the characters are butchered, but it still manages to strike up a comfy balance between long conversations and actual gameplay better than any of the other Persona games I think.

I've played Etrian Odyessey and while I like those games, I think Persona Q just somehow manages to blend everything I love about Persona with a lot of improvements from EO to make a really good Persona game.

I'm on the third dungeon on my first playthrough right now and it's just a pain to get through for me. The persona drop rate is way too low for 5 party members and the combat feels clunky and slow compared to the relatively smooth One More stuff from P3/P4. It's just a fun fanservice game for me but nowhere near my favorite (so far at least).

I think you might be crazy and may have no idea how video games are made. The whole reason P5 has taken so long is because it was a jump to a next generation of console, which means the creation of entirely new assets, which Atlus is generally against.
