Does having more than one "Muffle" mod on your armor pieces do anything or is it like Skyrim where there was no difference if you had more?

Do I even need Muffle if I have the Sneak perk that gives me silent running? They had the same skill in Skyrim as well and I believe there was no point in having a muffle enchant if you had it.

Every time I sit back and do some free-form surfing of the fallout wikis I always can't believe how lucky the first fallout's concept of 50's style-post nuclear war-wasteland-Vault themed bomb shelters made such a great setting.

Sure they were heavily influenced by A Boy and his Dog, and much of the concept of Wasteland was brought over but they streamlined the concept so well it became the best video game backdrop ever.

No, its Warhammer 40k, Imperial Guard Death Korps of Krieg.

Krieg is a world that is like Fallout on crack, the air is poison, the oceans are acidic, the land is nothing but trenches, etc, from thousands of World Wars and countless nuclear armageddons on the surface until the world itself became so fucked it went past the point of no return.

So the Krieg wear gas masks all the time and live underground by the millions, and are some of the strongest of the Imperial Guard, and most fiercely loyal to the Emperor.

Their design, as well as their backstory, is why I wanted to make one of their outfits in FO4.

I think it will be like Skyrim
One "random faction" themed DLC adventure like Dawnguard, expanding on the Vampires and introducing the Dawnguard
for Fallout, expanding on the Enclave and introducing some splinter faction for "good" characters.
Second will be a huge settlement themed DLC ala Hearthfire. More parts, more ways to build, spouse system, adopt kids in the wasteland, really rebuild villages and cities and not just shacks.
Finally an ~expansion~ type ala Dragonborn or whatever I never played it much though I'd rather they abandon the idea of new island/state of content like the Pitt or Point Lookout and expand on the in-game map south and then east to Cape Cod.
It can be similar to Point Lookout where you fight in the boonies but the people there live in large manors and are sophisticated with a dark underbelly. Coming from someone who vacations on the Cape every summer, it can be a really comfy place to explore, especially if they capture the beach+lighthouse imagery.

What looks the best under combat armor?

When you encounter them before the quest it's Brother James not Brother Thomas running things. Once you start the quest either way it becomes Brother Thomas, but if you killed James earlier you can use the fact that you killed him to intimidate Thomas.

Just visually. Again, it makes me miss the zone because the sky changing colors actually mattered more than just taking a rad away. You had to get to cover, NPC's had to get to cover. If that happened in fallout, you'd just find piles of bodies everywhere because one npc blocked the door for the rest, or they'd all magically teleport inside the second the storm started.

It shouldn't feel like the X-Ray engine is vastly superior to the creation engine, but there's only a handful of things that Fallout 4 does better than Shadow of Chernobyl or Call of Pripyat. Hell, even Clear Sky had fewer bugs and issues.

How do you get armor to look visually different?

I mean, the only way I've managed it is upgrading it to something like shadowed, or studded. I haven't found any way to get leather armor to cover the entire chest, and the arm bits don't end up changing at all unless shadowed, as far as I've seen, which just turns them into black leather, as you'd imagine.

Is it the secondary upgrade stuff that changes it, like the stuff that makes armor lighter, or increases your carry weight?
