I think through years of social anxiety I've put myself in a place that's the antithesis to forming relationships. I'm suck in an all-male social bubble, and it's very hard to approach women without mutual friendships. I've certainly improved myself, getting rid of my social anxiety, far improved hygiene, and improved myself intellectually, but I'm not conventionally attractive so I have to prove myself to most people with confidence and such.
