Mercy is good but she requires very smart players in order for her to be even remotely useful. She moves incredibly slow, has basically zero damage output on her own, and has only one movement ability that is almost no help when caught out. It's very easy to pick her off or harass her to the point where the enemy has to lose focus on the objective to keep her alive. Even though her ultimate can provide a huge swing it comes with a giant telegraph and requires the team to be getting beat down in the first place.

Lucio? Oh boy. He is fast as fuck, heals heath as a latent effect, can in one press of a button make everyone near him effectively invincible, counters just about every other ultimate, AND does respectable easily spammed damage. As a flanking character you pretty much can't bring him down because of how quickly he regens and how easily he dodges most of your shots.

While Mercy takes a lot of thought to play well and keep alive Lucio just skates around like a madman laughing at anyone who tries to gank him.

Open beta will be in the latter half of December

It can be a problem but you have time to react to it, if you hear her ulti go off you can back up and at least prepare yourself. You could make it so that she at least has to be out of the spawn to use it, that way she is in the playing field and can be killed to prevent it going off.

Her ulti requires people to be dead to work where Lucio can pop his and counter quite literally everything without anyone having to die.

Getting picks on supports is all he is good for, and yet he has a wide area barrier that implicates frontline blocking/presence. This is absolute mental retardation in terms of design. He has huge mobility for a tank but has no tools to capitalize on his mobility.

You just described why he's so shit. You fly in, pop a barrier to entice people to fight you, Q before death and annoy everyone while your team actually does meaningful moves.

Reinhardt's charge is more useful in terms of picking shit than Winston leap because it actually does some fucking damage, plus you can actually use your hammer to kill things after you suicide charge into a midfight.

Blizzard fucked up big time, at least with HOTS the game was a fucking disaster in beta. Horrible balance, god awful matchmaking(still hasnt been fixed nearly a year after release) and almost no heroes.

If they give you a rank for which "skill league" you're playing in that'll be entirely fine by me.

Also think about the shit that can go wrong, "get X with hero Y to unlock Z" what do we suddenly find? Games where people don't pick a class that's good for the job (which is already rare) but pick which skin they still need or want. Imagine one day they update with a new Widowmaker skin and for a good while every game is gonna be at least 4 of them on each side.

Whenever an enemy dies they have to run from their spawn back to the objective, if you know your timings you can drop in and catch people unaware for easy kills.

She can't do much against a deathball on the cart but outside of that tracer can ruin the attackers if they spread out at all. You also get a lot more room to move around and every second you distract the attackers is worth it.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your team is run past the enemies, which distracts the shit out of them already, and run to a safe spot.

Then dash in and out messing with them, shooting squishy healers as they leave spawn.

You slow down their attack, force them to turn around and kill you, let your defending line move up and push them back.
