I have compiled an objective list of the Fire Emblem series in terms of quality. The games have been divided into three groups.

>Pure Shit
No one likes these games and for good reason. Poorly balanced and badly designed, these games are very poor excuses for SRPGs. Generally these games have the weakest leads in the entire series.

>Meme Games
Like Undertale and every flavor of the month game that is so often shilled on /v/, these completely average games manage to garner a vocal minority of fanboys that praise these games as though they are some sort of divine being deserving of completely unwarranted praise and recognition. This meme spreads across the community and before long these games are held in such zealous reverence that it becomes taboo to criticize them.

In this respect these games can be compared to real world religions and the absolutely cancerous effect they have on society. Games in this category may not be as functionally bad as "Pure Shit" games, but the horribly adverse effect these games have on an intellectual society is of far more concern than a bunch of bad games that no one cares about.

TL;DR the world would be better off without meme games.

The gameplay is crafted by a team of designers that know exactly how video games should work. If there's one issue I have with FE6, it's reinforcements attacking on the turn they appear. Generally, you know where they'll be, but on chapters like 21, you don't know what the hell is going on and they swarm you easily. It's one thing I'm glad they removed, and I hated that they reintroduced it in FE12 and Awakening. I hate being punished for being in an arbitrary spot because enemies appear out of nowhere, not even somewhere predictable like a fort or stairs.

It you haven't played FE6, you're not a true FE fan. Face it, FE6 is for hardcore FE enthusiasts and if you haven't beaten if you're a casual scum piece of shit faggot (and sjw) and you need to leave. Fire Emblem 6: Rekka no binding Blade, the scared stone is THE BEST Fire Emblem game ever to grace the series.

The game follows the best, and canonically strongest lord Roy (short for Roywood) as he fucks the opposing army (Daein) up the ass, with his merry band of followers. The game is actually NOT terribily balanced. There is in game lore for why Rutger is broken, and why him, Deick and Clarine are even more broken when they pair up (they're 3 gods seperated at birth who join together to share their power which is why they get stronger when they stand next to each other) so that is why, it's not stupid it makes total sense. You're a fucking idiot if you think anything is wrong with FE6. Everyone misses a lot because it's realistic and it adds to the challenge. Also the reason Roy has such low MOV is because if you read the item descriptions you'd know he has a sprained ankle (and he still fights wars, total fucking badass). Even when they do warn you, it doesn't always help. You cover the forts, the stairs, those are obvious places. You've got the start of the map too, that works. But then they cover places you'd never know about and murder someone. For example, chapter 16 of Awakening where Falcoknights with Spears appear at the sides. It wouldn't be a problem, except they're positioned perfectly so they can cover a wide area and can easily pick off squishy units in the center area. Most people won't know about this the first time they play, and they'll lose a unit for stupid reasons.
