No. Because working with an ally is fun. Working with a swarm of button mashers isn't. There's enough enemies in a map for two players to share and work together well. Once there's three, you're just a wirlwind of DPS and one of the three of you is just playing catchup at any given point.

Two summons is basically just admitting you're unbearably casual and need people to play the game for you. One summon means you like playing co-op games and care about having a fun time.

Transformed is half and half physical and arc, having one strong should make up for the other one being weak, plus the double scaling meaning nourishing gems increase the damage by nearly 40% each

Beams are pure arc, at point blank range the damage would be devastating

Been following that guide for Arcane character, the image one passed around.

I got the saw spear, started with cane since it says I need it later, and got the flamethrower up to +3, beat Amelia, BSB, Cleric, and Gascoigne.

So far my strongest implement is my torch.

What level do I have to upgrade the saw spear so I can put the waning gem it calls for into it? If you upgrade the saw for elements why bother with the cane? I'm at 20 vit, 20 arc, base everything else (cruel fate), what should I be upgrading?

Anyone know where I can get the rest of the beast pelt set? I just got the helmet.

torch actually has strong ARC scaling so that's not surprising

i think for saw spear it's +6. what you should really do though is go into the first chalice and kill the dudes with flaming weapons. there's some near one of the lanterns and they can drop cursed fire *radials*, which will let you m ake any weapon extremely powerful very early

the cane has a triangle slot so it's easier to do elemental arcane damage with it, but IMO you can skip the cane really easily

in the main campaign there were enough chunks to get 2 weapons to +9, and a 3rd to 7 or 8. there was one rock for +10

the DLC adds another rock and enough chunks for another weapon. so you can do about 4 weapons per game clear to +9, and 2 of those to +10
