The good equipments drops are from invasion missions that stay 1 or 2 hours up like guerrilla dungeons.
You can IAP for the stones but they are being very generous so I really don't see the point in doing it.
There is no stamina so you can grind your equipment and max them with time and no pressure, the 3* and lower equips are leveled up with mats from story dungeons, 4* equip need mats from invasion dungeons.
In collabs you farm specific points and mats to buy equips and upgrade them.

I didn't know latent tama were part of the rotation like Chinese Jewels and Angel/Repaer. I just viewed the descend dungeon and they usually list the invades according to current event from what I remembered. But they seems really inconsistent now that I've realized it.

Few days ago Ultimate Yamato Rush listed both the latent tama and angel/reaper as invade, the next day Ultimate Devil Rush lists angel/reaper and chinese jewels but no talent tama, today Hera-Is list only angel/reaper and no latent tama even though I just got one. At this point I knew its all wrong and decided to ask here.

That's Neph first ultimate and I think it looks fine, but Astaroth looks worse than the others because it's kinda dead compared to those.

The other Astaroth ultimates have some theme in them. In the first one she is sleepy, sitting in a bed and she is holding her pillow, literally can't be any cuter than that. The second one Cauche is holding her hand helping go down some stairs thing. So there is a certain scene going on in the split ults, but in this Awoken Asta there is nothing happening, the art has no soul.
