Except Diarmund isn't a very personal guy really, so he wouldn't make Waver into a man. Its noted that part of the reason why his contract with Kayneth failed is because Diarmund didn't really care who his master was, he just wanted to serve someone. Because of this he never paid attention to Kayneth as a "person", but rather just as a master. Its said that if he saw his masters talents as something interesting, or took an interest in him personally, they would have gotten along rather well.

I guess Kayneth is weak to people taking an interest, and wants to show off a bit. As it currently stood, he only saw Diarmund as a tool until the end.

Not putting up with his shit won't keep you alive, but being a pussy about it won't earn you any respect and will make him very bored of you very fast. Which is another way to get a bad end with him.

I kinda hope they'll even out the difficulty of the 40 AP ascension quests. Normally its a cakewalk but occasionally you'll get lucky/unlucky and get stuck with a 200k HP boss that eats up your NPs before the real fight. Would be nice if they buffed the normal 2nd wave and toned down the HP of the random Gold drop guy a bit.

It lets you make an educated guess as to what you will get next turn. By counting the cards, you can know if it is possible to make a chain next turn or not and plan your skill usage and target priority accordingly.
It is also important when choosing which servants to pair, stacking one card gives you lots of chain bonuses, but might make your tactics less flexible.

Of course, this doesn't matter unless the fight is an actual challenge. But at least it adds more depth than a purely random system would.

My team is a simple Buster/Arts focus with NP CEs and simple attack bonus skills, so honestly the only timing I need to pop them is checking if my NP is ready, if I have a good target to hit and if I have two other cards to make a brave chain. The knowledge of the existence of rotations almost guarantees the last condition within 2 turns.

Planning out crit distributions are useless when you don't really generate stars.

About NPs, does it when you place them in a chain?
Does an Arts NP get a bonus from an Arts Chain?
Does putting an NP at the end of a chain of normal cards increase the damage?
