That's not going to happen unless you want to get max flying skill. I've recently leveled up a new char without heirlooms/economic help from my main and I was able to afford all I need, even a few glyphs on the AH. I simply sold all equip I didn't use to vendors and didn't even level professions. If you want to be sure just mine some copper and sell it at the AH and you'll have a few hundreds gold in no time without investing much time.
