This is my super secure idea for 30 Stam since I don't have Marco for the Garp team, don't have Max Mihawk for the Slasher team and don't have any decent QCK RR's.

I'm going to swap out Perona for Alvida depending on the first run.

I don't think this team can do 40 stam. I need all the stalling since my WB is at a 22 CD and 20-21 is possible on 40 Stam with GPU.

Progress in this game isn't measures by how far into the story you are. It's measured by your pirate level, how many good units you have, and how high level they are.
If you are lower level with not so many usable units, Smoker is a good guy to have because his ability isn't type specific and can help anywhere you expect to take damage. That being said if you are trying to assemble a dex team, Zoro or Apoo may be better for the dex buffs they give.
Brook on the other hand is a subpar qck unit who's ability could work in niche teams but not for everyone. Whatever you need more, farm. If you wanna go for Ryuma/Tashigi, just farm until you get one and do the other.

He's not bad evolved, but Lucci, Kaku, and Hina are all better. If you have them from the previous fortnights, use them. Also, Thatch, Ace, and Jozu are fantastic pulls you could get from Rare Recruit.

Units like Kaku you can evolve and they'll keep the special levels since it's the same in both forms. Having TNami is a good start since Int is easy as piss to build crews and use well. If you can manage to farm out Mr. 3, Broggy/Buggy, and Crocodile you'll be set on a team. You should also maybe farm units like Arlong and Alvida until their islands come back as both are great units you'll use a bunch. Saving your gems for sugo is your best plan right now

The important thing to look at is the special name.

If it has the same special name, then you can raise the special. Doesn't matter if it is different characters or skillbooks. For example, Dorry can raise Broggy's special even though they are different characters since they share the same special name.

Does 4* Apoo have the same special name as 5* Apoo? If it does, then you can raise your 5* Apoo with it.

they have a certain amount of armor, idk what it is, but if you dont do above that amount it only does 1 damage.

for example, say a crab has 15000 armor. if you do between 1-15000 it will just be 1 damage. if you do 15001 it will be 2 damage , and 30000 will be 15000 damage.

most of them have really low hp so even doing like 50 damage is usually a kill. you just need to level up your units more, and use stronger captain abilities, and always end the attack with you strongest unit (type boost, orb, just more atk, etc)

Has anyone else taken into account that if you have the space it's actually way more effective to farm penguins to use in your pig evolution than it is baby sea horses?

Seeing as how you basically always get 4 penguins of different colors that you will all hopefully use eventually, than getting 0-2 sea ponies per run.

I understand it's nice having to worry about just 1 color fits all unit for it but it's just something to consider.

Then I realized that this is wrong in 2 ways

1) You mostly farm ponies to evolve the pigs from the current fortnight. Because of this, you'd need a weekly supply of matching penguins. If you have like 15 blue pigs, you'd need a LOT of penguin runs to get 15 blue penguins

2) Because of this, you'd have a LOT of leftover penguins for other colors, which would sit in your inventory for MONTHS (the next STR fortnight is 4 months from now for example)


So no, sea ponies are still the best
