NMM is basically MO if it were horribly fucking broken.

MO does what NMM does, but instead of shoving everything into one directory, it uses a virtual file system to trick Skyrim into thinking all the files are there when they actually are in seperate folders, which makes it piss-easy to fix load order problems: Just drag your mod up and down the list. It also tells you about files that are overwritten and is generally an awesome piece of kit. Unfortunately, the build system sucks, so it's hard to hack on.

WryeBash is fucked don't use it. It was basically the MO/NMM of its day, and had a nice tool for combining ESPs for reducing the amount of shit Skyrim loads, but it's so fucking broken now it's not worth using, and it doesn't have MO's VFS.

I use SPERG and honestly it's not much different from vanilla. It is an improvement but still follows the "improve X for more damage" formula mostly. It also has a autoperk system that automatically gives you the "main perks" for free as you level up the skill, which makes DSR useless for extra perks as you probably end up with them already. Might as well keep it for extra health/mana/stamina though if you want.
And remove URN, it's really spaghetticoded and fucks up a lot of stuff, especially mods that edit worldspaces.

Fallout is just as realistic as Elderscrolls. Not every fantasy shit fits into TES, just as a lot of scifi shit won't be lore-friendly in FO. Furries and lipple daedras might as well be genetic mutations or bodymodifications, which is often a theme in scifi. Ok, the fuck is going on with my game?

About 30% of the time, when I open a door to a room, all the shit that was sitting on the shelves and desks suddenly explodes off into the air like someone shoved a grenade under it. Its getting quite tedious, and injuring NPC's.

My own house is a fucking state with like meat and books all over the fucking floor, because I cant be arsed putting it back when I know its just going to go all fucking poltergeist on me again at some point.

Sometimes it happens when I open a cupboard in the game, with a dish or some shit on it, the dish will fly off across the room. Once it hit me so hard then got stuck between my character and the cupboard that the physics glitched the fuck out and I died.

Anyone know what might cause this?

Actually, settlements could work to a degree. Skyrim and I believe Oblivion and Morrowind all had large swaths of unpopulated wilds that would be ideal to create settlement locations in, if not at least homesteads.

One of my own ideas for a new TES game would involve the PC being able to shrug off the major plotlines for the most part and start a business empire by taking over/starting up farms, shops, banks, mines, and a few merchant/pirate ships.

And then resolve a few of the main plotlines by throwing your economic weight around.

Another idea though is that, playing with the concept of Manteling in the TES lore, if you do not rise to be a certain role in the unfolding story, someone else will and possibly push things in a direction you don't want things to go. I don't think it's a graphics problem at this point. Or maybe it is, who knows.

All my textures are compressed and there aren't any over 2048 resolution. Even with ENB off, it will go from running at a smooth 30 down to literally 1-3 FPS or ultimately just freezing. It's such a disappointment.

It's pretty much why I only ever bother taking nude/pornographic screenshots in exteriors. The game just plain doesn't work for me in exteriors. Well, at least not reliably enough to actually enjoy it at all.

I've tried that. It helps with FPS sometimes but never with crashing or freezing. I can deal with FPS dips, but when the game just flat out stops working and I have to start it back up again, especially considering the loading screens for this game that drag on and on and on for even several minutes at a time it's just not worth it. It makes me more annoyed than anything. There's pretty much zero enjoyment in it.
