It is about the health. The hypermaxed meme Yomi Dragon Arena team already requires 27 dark latents to survive DQ Hera's preemptive. Subbing in Akechi over a second Yomi Dragon guarantees that you're fucked if you get DQ Hera because of his lower HP.

For any other dungeon though, I'd rather use Akechi. His active is amazing.

I have wukong and raph, so that's cool.

Lucifer has nice attack and RCV which is nice for a Lu Bu leader; I think the problem with Lucifer is that he himself doesn't have any enhanced dark orb awakenings. So his active is bad imo. The nuke is neat and all, but since it only works on light enemies, it's not that great imo.

If it worked on all enemies, that'd be cool. On a 5 turn CD you could clear 2 floors in KoG with a button press.

As it is now though, the 300k nuke (because it's versus light only) isn't great IMO (a gravity would be better even). And his orb enhance doesn't match his awakenings. Without any other +dark orbs, it's only an 11% dark damage boost.

So what are some recommended latents for Bestcat? I have a few time extends on her like everyone else right now, but I don't think the .1 second is actually helping.

I’ve been running a Horus team for well over a year now, watching many of my old subs go (Gigas, Hera-Is, Vampire) eventually to be replaced by much better ones like A.Amaterasu and A.Hino. But there’s the one particular sub that has always been a staple to my team and that is my Echidna. Despite its terrible stats and non-existent awakenings, the importance of its active skill was at heart irreplaceable. The very essence of a 3-turn delay had enabled me to beat countless of dungeons and saved me numerous of times.
So now I’m wondering with all the new monsters and stuff coming out, there seems to me that there is simply no plausible replacement for echidna, although A.Orochi does come close but sad to say, I don’t have one. This really conflicts me because I’ve just recently obtained my A.Susano and was debating on which sub I should replace. My current Horus team sits at: -A. Hino -Okuni -A. Ama -Echidna
All of these subs are just too strong and utile for me to replace but at the same time, I really want to fit my new Susano onto the team and the only sub I have my eyes on replacing is Echidna.
With all this being said, my question is does anyone even use Echidna on their team anymore or am I just stuck in the past, and if you think Echidna is still strong/relevant in the current meta.
My echidna right now is max skilled and sits at around 100+ eggs and if I decide to replace it, I’ll probably end up feeding it to my Susano as I literally have no other use for it.
