I dont play much anymore. It's not that I'm not interested in the game anymore, I still am, it's just that the state of pubs are so awful that I end up being disappointed in 9/10 matches. This might be ok if the games were quicker but they aren't, each game is at least 30 minutes with an average of 45 plus the time spent finding a match, picking heroes and any amount of pauses (because there's always a fucking pause) so I basically end up wasting nine hours out of every ten I spend on dota. It's just not worth the time so I don't play much anymore.

Though I miss you guys, I think this game has lost its light for me. I had that awful losing streak a few weeks back and then even after it improved I realized I was just never enjoying the game anymore because of the people who play it

Playing online games since the mid 90s, dota has far and away the worst community of anything I've ever experienced, and it's not even close. The Dota 2 community is that bad. It just gets so tired after a while having people rage in literally every single game.

And then stuff like the new compendium, no new heroes, no new jungle camps, taking too long to rebalance heroes that are OP, no zeus arcana, no axe, no desert terrain, etc. etc...

It's plain to see that Valve are giving Dota the absolute minimum investment of time and effort beyond the money-making events, and after a while you have to look at yourself and ask yourself why you care so much when even the company that makes the game doesn't care at all.

I don't even feel like playing Overwatch now. I feel like I'm just tired of the people who play comp multiplayer games, in a general sense.

My concern is, as a player with only 150 hours into game you WILL shit up teamfights no matter what hero, and picking meepo (while it has some good values even for bad players, like training global awareness) only makes it worse on top of everything.

Not to mention you need really good decisionmaking with meepo to reliably win games with splitpushig etc.

If you just want to play some micro heroes then pick visage, ench.
You will just shit up games for both self and alliea with meepo when you dont understand the basics of game yet.

Meepo is macro hero,not micro hero.
its about farming and getting xp super fucking efficiently, not about memeclicking control groups
Of course, in shit bracket you can pick meepo and go vlads mek and still win because you are playing against braindeads.

>Manta illus carry radiance aura, so you can farm more
>Bots so you can TP to any lane to activate your manta so your illusions can carry the radiance aura so you can farm even more
>Octameme so you can BoTs more often so you can Manta more often so you can send your money-making aura more often into their side of the map
The problem is that the amount of space and coordination it requires for you to play Naga 2.0 isn't something you can very well rely on with pubs, but people often don't find that out until the game is already over, or even worse, wins a few matches then decides to only play that hero that way, surely it's the team's fault and not his, etc
Basically just people trying pro-only builds in pubs is the issue

Because they think Alch is supposed to farm up farming items when the entire point of the hero is that he farms fast with his kit and carries with items (getting big items much earlier than the enemy).
It's redundant to get farming items on one of the best farmers in the game.
If you go items lika manta and radiance you will still melt like butter with your low HP pool and pathetic armor value.

The radiance is a really good pickup on alch, if you can get it before 10-14 minutes then rush it. If your team give you any space at all with that thing you can quickly reach 1000GPM just rotating around your own jungle, stacking as you farm, acid spray and radiance clear out the camps insanely fast.

The problem is the manta/octomeme build is only good situationally, and means he becomes an antimage style lane pusher and rat, rather than a fighter. In almost all games just get one farming item, like a radience, then spend ten minutes solidly farming til you're 6 slotted with an AC, Abysall, Heart, Mjollnir etc and just wade down mid to win 1v5 if you have to in a pub, at 30 minutes in.

suuure, it gives ms, some as, some armor, dispell and manta illus can be used for scouting, farming and splitpushing. its about damn time you started giving some space back to your team for being 4p1'd for 20 minutes dont you think? now lets farm the enemy jungle

now at this point, the enemy team will have several core items of their own, they may have hit their level timings or one of their carries are starting to whack you down with right clicks

if you octarine core, you are 100% depending that he wont ever find you untill you farm your next item, which admittably isn't impossible with BoT and manta for safe farming, but you are still at risk.
with ac you can actually join fights, survive most 2-3 man ganks apart from stuff like laguna blade, aa ult or very high lockdown + right click dps, and you can get bkb/mjollnir/abyssal blade as your next item and join your team for victory push since you should have 5-10 k more networth than their carry providing you havent died more than 1-2 since BoT.

if you go octarine and manage to splitpush/farm 100% without dying then yeah it pays off and you have two item slots for ac/abyssal that you will fill very fast, but the enemy gets so much worth out of commiting 4-5 man ganks and high cd ults on you and your team is pressumably somewhat underfarmed, meaning if they get to you then can take objectives, and if you have to buyback you lose like 2k~ gold since you farm so fast, AND you are worth a shit ton of gold since you are a walking money purse.

in pubs, you never go 100% greed unless you are already stomping the enemy.

How do I literally build roaming BH?

I just can't seem to figure out what to build him and when to gank lanes.

I usualy go stout into orb of venom into boots and work my way into utility items from there but I always seem to be too below in levels even when I get 3 kills before min 8

Should I build something like maybe urn or wand in order to last more after the 10 min mark?

The only time this happens to me is early game, before I have a big item. Once the ball is rolling you can even just buy a bottle, use it for the ten minute farming period, then sell it. Octameme does so little for alch if he's not in a match where they specifically are laying seige to high ground, struggling to do a fast fight and he needs his ult up all the time

Funilly enough I build him just like you do, I just love that early radiance. Walking through the jungle hearing "ching ching ching" over and over is so nice
