you can do that, but since you're asking a rudimentary question about jungling/vision, I'm assuming you are low-ish elo. thus, the vision gained by your sightstone will be less valuable, because your teammates (who lack strong game sense and map knowledge) are less likely to properly act on this knowledge

what I meant was to use your trinket wards and vision ward to gain selective vision of the enemy jungle, and be able to see where the enemy jungler/laners are at all times. this information will allow you to make aggressive plays, depending on the location of the enemy champions.

for instance, you are red side, and you place a ward at the enemy's blue buff. if you see the enemy jungler and mid laner both go to the blue buff, as a jungler you can group with your bot lane + mid lane to force dragon, since you will outnumber the enemy on that part of the map

you can look up specific warding guides, but generally, you want to ward deeper into the jungle the more pressure your laners have. it is dangerous to walk all the way into the enemy jungle at level 3, because the enemy laners can (theoretically) collapse on you with the enemy jungler and kill you. if you have mid tower down though, and your mid laner is stronger than theirs in a skirmish, it is safer to put wards deeper into the enemy jungle, because you will (again, theoretically) have your laners to back you up

They need a lot of playtime and for people to be playing even skill games, which are pretty rare I pbe. Also it's easy to escape an invade as fiddle, just fear and walk away. At early levels they wont have nearly enough movement speed to catch up unless it's a Nidalee or something.

I don't think that makes him bad though, he has pretty good objective control and even though his ulti is on a long cooldown, it's basically a guaranteed kill when you have it. The way he pops like a balloon when "killed" indicates that isn't his real form. Most likely it's only a husk he uses as an avatar to interact with the world.

A lot of his power may just seem to be "awareness" but that kind of knowledge is power. Heimerdinger is only as dangerous as he is because of his analytical ability, and here we have a creature capable of acutely sensing magical disturbances at any distance.

He can teleport, and not just weakshit short-range warping like Twisted Fate, either.

The only question is how much of what he does can be attributed to the super-magical artifacts he deals with, but the evidence would seem to suggest he's at the very least above and beyond ordinary mortals.
