You can't actually do any content on gMS other than killing stuff for fun and daily/seasonal events.

MapleStory turned into a SOLO online game and you can actually buy your way to the top by paying, the excuse for losers like shag and other low level scum to party up and defeat bosses in a game like this is the actual struggle of being poor in an enviroment where only the one with the big wallet can enjoy the real deal.

gMS, more than kMS has turned into a crap game and your only excuse to keep playing it is if you have puttoo much effort into it to the point you can't quit and even then, you are still a shitter sub 800k range who can't enjoy their own loot (because you need to pay to be able to trade them) and is not as profitable if you buy nx with mesos.

Dream servers got content, if you are talking about extalia then you can't realize that the server doesn't encourage the dumb western nature you are accustomed to, it appeals to the real maplestory escence which is exploring, farming, merching and upgrading your own gear, party play and much more, people actually need to party and share the drops for high end bosses, and even if someone donates for 8 million donation points they cannot fully enjoy what they paid for because the content is limited to appeal the people who like the feeling of real progress.

Crimson Queen summons a random buff, mostly a attack speed buff.

Murgoth is a summon that does a good amount of damage, just beneath Lotus. You don't collect souls during a boss fight - you collect before you go into a boss.

Maple's slated to run entirely out of players (at least for GMS, which will kill EMS and probably SEA as well) in june/july of 2016. There just aren't enough people, and more leave. That's the projected date based on loss of players and some other shit, the lack of a good summer update is a huge contributing factor, unless the blockbuster is absolutely amazing. We'll probably see proper server MERGES soon, none of this alliancing shit, just downsizing cause even though there's only actually 5 servers, that's still 3 too many, and it confuses the shit out of the few new players maple gets anymore. Also, why do you think you could only choose to go to the main world in an alliance? Just go check out random fags stremaing on twitch, posting on the steam forums, or anywhere that a new person would generally ask questions.

The reason trickster dying was sad was because it wasn't ready to die, it was performing exceptionally well compared to other shitty ntreev games, barring pangya (as pangya is fucking 10/10 and absolutely crushed every other golf game in the world, rightfully so.)

The loss of the global market meant the significantly smaller KR market for trickster online (a total 180 from 99% of KR mmos, which are usually infinitely more popular in KR.) was doomed to failure. I also think the global version, once ntreev died and was replaced by "gamerage" or whatever, also locked a bunch of shit by IP, because lots of games turned into NA and EU versions, which almost always spells doom for non-action games. MMOs don't suffer from an extra 80 ping. Even more action-oriented ones like trickster.

The global market, generally focused in on the NA market, is a cesspool and an enormous gamble for new games, which is why we only see huge big budget MMOs funded by huge publishers make their way over all of a sudden.

Sidenote, I love the update posters in star planet M app.

Because this game, endless online, ripped it off, without remorse. It was an attempt at re-creating the game for a more western market. Only the team working on it never got anywhere with it, and it was pawned off on a guy named vult-r. He basically turned it into endless online. The engine he got was extremely basic, missing pretty much every feature that LoD eventually dveloped, but I thought this was really interesting. I don't know how he got it, or why they gave it to him, for all I know he was lying and he was just trying to reverse engineer the game, but I thought this was incredibly interesting.

Especially because LoD was a very large imprint in maplestory's history. It came out a year before maple, LoD and Baram and Talesweaver all came out in 2001 I think, and maple was just entering final stages of beta at that time.

You probably won't find anybody partying before like level 120. After that I expect a lot of partying to be done though, new world and all means nobody killing CRA and emp for a couple days. the cubes for mesos will see that it's not too ridiculous to gear up though. Make sure you stock up some rewards points before reboot drops though, and pray for a pet in the rewards shop cause they're basically 100% necessary.

So I haven't logged into GMS in about 6 months now, while i've been playing KMS. That's about the proper date for me to start getting the "come back now" gifts.

Yeah it's why I went back to KMS initially. there was an equally good pack given out for you and i patch on GMS (rising heroes), had like 10k maple points, a package of 10 PSSBs, a permanent robo-yeti pet, a 90 day kinship ring, 90 day hyper tele rock, and other amazing shit.

so I just didn't log on till black heaven. Totally worth it. Honestly at this point they should just start giving out better maple point rewards to appease the fanbase they have left. Everyone I see ever talking on the official GMS forums is just mad about something, the shitty optimization of the game, lack of effort in stopping bots, or other shit. It makes me sad. But maybe reboot will save GMS. Maybe an influx of people will show up, maybe nexon NA will bring in the auction house after however many years.

It's the title of a series of patched put out as KMS' summer series. There's also a a world, named for the series, released alongside it that functions very differently from the others. No trading, no scrolling. Other people are still in the game, but you earn everything yourself. Also, you can buy cubes with mesos, and meso/xp rates are raised a bit. Mobs are also harder.

Is kanna supposed to be able to split kishin into 2 pieces? I'm playing extalia trying to level up a link mule, and I found if i use kishin next to the edge of a platform it can attack both platforms.

Guys i have been playing this game for 2 months now but i cannot for the life of me notice any damage increase in my skills, i created the axe guy with the wolf thing and i have got like 300 int yet my skills do the same damage.

Luk doesn't work either or is it bugged? my critical rate stays the same all the time and dex seems to not make my attacks faster either ... now i see why you guys say this is a dead game, nothing works lol.

Maplestory is more systematic than it is realistic.

Your main stat, Str, is what you build into because it's the only thing useful you to because it increases your damage.

Everything else is affected by your passive skills: speed, defense, and whatever the fuck else you have.

Can anyone help me fix my character? I'm a returning player from long ago and I feel like I'm ridiculously weak. It takes me several shots to kill Scorpions at level 89...

As a grown fuccboi, I don't mind spending a tiny bit of money in order to fix my character so that I can start enjoying the game again, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My items really suck and my stats need a reset, that much is clear. But what items should I be shooting for and how much $ are we talking here? :'(

Resetting your stats doesn't cost money but neither items nor a reset will make you very much stronger, just get the free to level 60 gear and level up.

Corsair is never phenomenally strong but there's a huge difference between 3rd job and 4th job sair

You don't need to spend money right now. The biggest issue is your stat distribution. Next time an event with a coin shop rolls around, grab an AP reset.

Or just remake, unless you have lots of shit you can't stand losing and is untransferrable, 89 is something you can reachi n a day. And most of that equipment is mediocre.
