The nerf is pretty significant, I got hit by a half charged shieldbreaker from Lucina and I still had a ton of shield left.

He isn't particularly rewarded for either of them. Unless you're at 160% and can be killed by upthrow there's absolutely no reason to be scared of being grabbed my Marth or Lucina, they only do 3-4% and there's no followups.

You know how in Melee if Marth can't finish his opponent early he ends up smacking his opponent with single hits that don't lead in to anything else? Smash 4 Marth is like that, but from 0%.

As people are getting better at their characters and pulling off 30+% combos Marth is getting even further left behind.

/ssbg/ is dead.

/ssbg/ has become the most toxic general in /vg/ that newcomers really ought to avoid like the plague.


The general is literally 95% shitposting. This place really has become, starting many months ago, a pure shitposting hub with only the most hardcore circlejekers still frequenting this place. It makes sense when you realize people use this place as a "hangout" a la a skype group. Everyone here just uses this thread as an afterschool / afterwork lounge to blogpost and circlejerk with their favorite regulars here.

I have never seen a bigger circlejerk than these threads with everyone having the biggest egos I could imagine, thinking this place still has a reason to exist when everyone is covered in shit from the constant shitposting.


Everyone here gets meme'd on - no exceptions even new people. We literally got blatant shitposters like moxy, falkore, cake, rakyy, madoka, chronos, hiraga, panchito, chazo, etc posting off-topic shit and blogging the 99% of the time they are here and trying to justify it playing the 1% of the time.

Even worse shitposting here never gets deleted unless it's blatant or porn.

Letting this shithole fester and ignoring the problems only leads to a bigger problems later on. That's why /vg/ has a reputation for being hostile compared to other boards.


I know that it's a common psychological thing to compare something to its former self and say it's gotten worse, but /ssbg/ really has gone to complete and utter shit.

Ok, so since Ryu's Stage had around 6 music tracks in it we could make a good assumption that Cloud's will too.

It's also safe to assume that the music shown in the trailer (outside of the victory theme since that will most likely be Cloud's winning theme.), will be Music for the Stage. So that leaves us with at least 3 more tracks.

I main Falcon, just felt like screwing around + don't wanna bother with using serious chars at this hour. You did fine, your Lucas seemed to be doing especially well although I did kinda keep running into all your shit becausing my brain defaulted to grab mode. You should work on recovering with him though, it seems like most of the time you were hitting yourself with the PK Thunder too early and ended up sending you in the complete wrong edition. Also, since you're new to Wii U you should train more on Wii U exclusive stages and get used to them.
