It pretty much lies to you. After a patch a week after it's release to improve the netcode, the frame delay and the connection icon is just completely messed. You really can't tell how well the match will run until you are in the match itself.

I'm kind of just cherishing these last months in USFIV more than anything though to be quite honest. of course people will still play it but in 3 months this game that I've been playing feverishly for the past few years is about to be replaced by a game I'm not sure I enjoy more. I still like SFV a lot but USFIV is probably going to remain my favorite.

this preemptive nostalgia is a strange feeling. after EVO 2015 ended it really hit me that this it for the game. Capcom Cup will be great but EVO has a different feel for me.

No my internet is completely fine, it's not that Xrd's netcode is bad for frame delay based. It's just that Street Fighter V with the exceptions of three matches in the 23 hours I played all were beyond fantastic. No Tension for Blitz or Dead Angle because I'm stuck in the corner after the first 5-10 seconds. What little Tension I get is spent on FD to try and push him out. If I jump, he's always ready with an air throw.

Record the usual Sol / Sin blockstring , open the frame data, check what moves are - on IB. IB recovers 3 frames faster.
