But obviously attributing failure to yourself is the last thing most people consider, as it feels better to blame external sources like luck or faction imbalances. Duelyst has the potential to steal a lot of Hearthstone players, as long as it gets more attention.

There's much more strategy involved in this game & the devs actually give a shit about balance. I think most Hearthheads would appreciate that. Especially the ones that are "skill capped", and know that HS is too RNG driven to be a viable competitive game.

Vanar is dogshit beyond rank 5. It's average beyond 10. It's actually fairly strong up to 10 because of how fast and cost effective its cards are.

I'm rank 16 atm, mostly playing lyonar. It's not exactly difficult, just got ironcliffe guardian, seems a bit op, makes it even easier.

But i also like playing around the other decks, and the only one that's really underwhelming is vanar, just can't seem to make it work with what i have.

This is my last post because this game is dead and a mate is going to give me his HS account with all cards. I was waiting all week to just sit down and try some gauntlet but I quickly realized why I had taken a break: Magmar and Lyonar ruin arena with their global nukes. In fact most of the shit on this game is over the top with little room for positioning because of over the top effects, even an RNGfest like HS is more fun if you just wanna play BS effects and don't even get me started on the music that forces me to mute the game after 1-2 games.

Sorry bros but I couldn't even make it to Steam release. Maybe I'll check back someday but getting legend on HS and farming arena takes priority.

Magmar needs nerf they're just too strong in ladder not necessarily broken but they have no real unfavorable match ups. Lyonar could use a very very slight nerf. I think vetruvians cards need better allocation you either have tons of pricey cards and are a nightmare to deal with whether control or third wish rush. Or your deck is pretty meh. I think vanar could use the same treatment they have a few cards that are neat but a lot of useless ones. Lantern fox could use a slight nerf too.

What's the best in Magmar Control? I'm trying to build a viable one, but I'm fairly new and I don't know what the essentials are.

What I don't know is what big hitters I should be suing. Kolossus seems garbo-tier, bu cards like Spirit Harvester and Makantor Warbeast seem really good--but cards that need synergy to really work.

So until I have those synergy cards, is something like Elucidator better, or should I just go ahead and make the Warbeasts and Spirit Harvesters anyway, regardless of deck synergy?
