So higher level zones are infested with invisible walls that mob AI wont cross. If you aggro a mob and then run to the other side of these walls you can peg any shitty ranged attacks at them until they die and they absolutely will not fight back or move away.

These same fucking walls are also kill switches for the already retarded brains in all necro/sorc summons and every time I cross one I have to resummon the ones I can and abandon the ones I can't (like skeletons)

I never stop finding reasons to be mad at this game.

For what? You're level 50. Go run the level 50 dungeon until 60~65 while doing all of those quests. When you hit Mausaleum you should be around level 80 then go to Gytis and do everything up to Tenets Farm, pop cards and you'll be level 90 in no time then go back to Zachariel Crossroads and run the level 90 dungeon.

This can be done in a day or two depending on how long you play for. You do not need to save any cards before 130.

Yes the one near tenet chapel, at level 50 one full clear run should net you two or three levels, you can do it upwards to 5 times a day. If you can get a group to do them all back to back you'll be overleveled for a long time.

Also, mobs outside of dungeons give shit EXP so dont worry about it, grinding is not faster.

Healing skills have major cd so you really need to DPS during the downtime.

You should have this http://www.tosbase.com/game/world-map/ as your alt-tab browser page instead of /tosg/. You do quests, and check this map every 3 levels or so. You don't go to higher level maps until you do the lower level. You click on each and every object you can interact with, you explore all the maps to 90-100% searching for NPCs. 1 NPC can have 1.5-2 levels worth of exp in cards, and it won't take much time. You bind an interation with objects to a specific button of your choice because some objects are not clickable, you check objects like books and glass lamps (mage tower), not only human NPCs.

Once in a while you'll seem like you run out of quests - then you just go to maps whcih are higher levels You should remember maps names which you were doing which were higher level than you, because you can't take all the quests unless you match the recommended level. So once you've reached the level of the map - you recheck it again for quests. They won't be there always, but sometimes they will.

You only grind if you find a really good spot exp/silver-wise and if you feel like grinding. The best spot for me was the bushspiders spot at lvl 100+. They die instantly, provide good exp, they always gather in big groups and drop a shitload of recipes. You will never have to grind against your own will.

I always explore the maps and try to interact with everything suspicious looking. Despite that I'm still constantly behind. More often than not there is a 3 level difference between maps, just like the link you provided showed. Even with exploring every new map and grinding a bit on every map that is not nearly enough to get 3 levels. I would probably have to stay 5 or 6 hours on every map to get that many levels. I don't really feel like I'm ever low on silver though. I get plenty of that from all the recipes like you said. Thanks for the map though, perhaps I can find some use for it that I don't get from the in-game world map.

Thought pattern:
-Cryo instead of pyro provides a 4 second freeze and ice wall(questionable freeze) instead of the meager damage provided by one level of pyro
-Linker would provide utility and theoretical damage
-Thaum would give utility and would combine with linker to double the exp value of packs you kill (and potential champions but not really because they never spawn)
-Sorc would be a (seemingly) good source of damage based on what I've seen of temple shooters and such wrecking things, a onepointwonder-type class
-Alchemist for awakening shit, making potions, baking gems and making bank


The other option is cryo (or pyro)/triple linker/alchemist

What do I do with necklace of fury, necklace of gluttony, necklace of sloth, etc; I'm guessing there's a recipe to combine them but where's the recipe from? Database doesn't seem to say.

Pyro2/Thauma/Sorc here.
Pyro2 was so easy to play, Thuma just increased my damage and partys making it even more easier.
As i hit Sorc i nearly stopped using my Pyro on trash mobs, that's how good templeshooter is. if i knew this earlier i would pick one circle in Linker instead of Thauma.

Pyro2 is great, but i would't go for Pyro3.
Fireball lv10 is just great on bosses and helps alot when lvling on map with flying mobs, Flame Ground is love, even at lv5, easy grind at low lvls.
I still use Pyro, but mostly on bosses, or in dungeons if there is need for it. Fire Phillar is great for hitlocking group of mobs.

Thauma is great, but doesn't affect your summons. If you want to provide support for party with extra damage buff then it's good, but linker would do the same while actually affecting your summons damage.

That's the whole appeal to this game, you grind in order to make fun topics and in exchange you stop caring about the grind being shit or boring, the longer this goes on the better the game seems, hell, when grinding with friends and talking about shit, you're effectively grinding 4 times faster and making up fun conversations all the time.

You want a high crit rate, at least 200+. 233 is a common number thrown around. Then put rest in STR. You get more STR per point because of the bonus 10% STR per class rank, and it increases both attack and crit attack. If you can get lots of crit rate through buffs and green gems then you do not need much DEX. Hoplites can go almost full STR.

I wouldn't go C3 Priest if I were you. Considering putting a rank in Krivis or Paladin instead.

This is coming from a 150 Monk. Sacrament is useless once you hit monk and Blessing started to show how little the +170 attack really was at level 140, at 150 it takes me the same amount of hits to kill a mob blessing or no blessing.

The only good thing about C3 Priest is Stone Skin, but that doesn't justify going balls deep into the class for Monk at least.

Zalicai ups your crit damage and scales with spirit. It also has the effect of lowering enemies crit resistance so it also boots your crit rate in a way. Daino is great when you're partying up with people, which you'll be doing later.

Paladins Smite is really strong and has a short cool down. It gives you another damaging skill which you can use giving your stamina consumption a short break. Also gives you a chance to overkill earlier, Knife Break into Smite. Their aura isn't too shabby either because of the attribute to restore SP. Resist Elements is alright, not the greatest but at least it gives you something against those pesky magic enemies.

Happens all the time in the good grind areas and in dungeons. And in those places you want to be in a group anyways. And solo you'd probably go wiz > pyro > link > pyro > link > link so your dmg wouldn't be too bad, miles ahead of a priest for example.

If your party members wander out of range the exp penalty goes away too so theres that.
Honestly though the system is pretty bad considering how few areas exist that are good for a group to farm.
Seems like the only worthwhile use of a party is to duo as a swordsman class capable of overkilling, and a wizard with linker and thaum for swell body etc.

You're pretty stupid aren't you? It means that a group grinding or running a dungeon with a linker3, healer and 3 dps will kill shit faster than a group with a healer and 4 dps.

You have to look at the long run because Blessing doesn't scale well at the end and Sacrament doesn't do anything for you as a Monk, unless you plan on auto attacking once you're out of "battle priest" mode, but you won't as soon as you realize how strong double punch can become. I guess if you plan on never putting points into DEX then the crit damage from Zalicai won't really matter to you. I went with full crit Monk (233 crit rate rest into STR)

Paladin because Smite alone is good and gives you another skill to use while you're waiting for your stamina (waiting on pill to come off cooldown.)

Which would you guys prefer? A party leader that never shuts the fuck up or an entirely silent party in a dungeon run? Granted everyone in the PT has ran the dungeon at least once.
