Curse of Raafam seems to be overlooked.

The effect is great, since you have to waste two mana just to get rid of the effect, and even then it will guarantee at least two damage. So while you do your normal Zoo stuff the opponent has to try to take down your minions while having enough Mana to get rid of the Curse, which is pretty hard to do in the early game.

it would be hard for zoo to fit it in early unless the opponent just hero powers the first couple of turns. probably the only time to play it is when you sac your voidcaller for a pitlord on turn 5 or get a good implosion + curse on turn 6. just huge tempo turns really, but i can't imagine wanting to use the card instead of tapping.

I think Rumbling Elemental might be the best card in the set. The problem is that Shaman as a whole is such a weak class that it probably doesn't matter.
That said I'm gonna be playing the fuck out of Dragon Shaman when the expansion comes out, because Dragons have a shitton of really good Battlecry minions.

It's good but muster for paladin is fucking broken and was one of the cards that saved the class from being shit tier and instead catapulted it to high tier. That's how good muster is. It has an immediate, incredibly strong impact on the board and is very hard to deal with completely unless you have early game aoe.

It can be countered by divine shield / taunt minions and comes just before AoE's are unlocked for many classes (t3-t4)

If AoE'd it's effectiveness is incredibly diminished on top of competing with other weapons run in the deck like coghammer and truesilver.

In a lot of situations it produces an advantage given shielded minibot is played before it or juggler survives, but there are many counters to it.

You can't counter 3 damage to anything on the board / face and 6 damage later. Unless you're a specific class running a specific secret (mage counterspell)

That's because playing CW drains your soul. By the time they reach golden portrait they're just empty shells, mindlessly equipping axes and tanking up but ultimately feeling nothing when you concede out of frustration and they queue again.

The saddest part is I have all cards in the game and I've been playing since beta. I'm just more of an arenafag. My total ranked win count is actually under 200, that's how little I've played that mode and I get anxious every time, I don;t know why. I was diamond in LoL before quitting last year, I'm diamond in Duelyst and top 20 overall in PoxNora but I get the jitters in Hearthstone for some reason.

The main reason I don't see Reno likely being played is that he is a card you pretty much can only play at the very end of the game

deathwing is theroetically amazing in CW too but the reason it isn't run is because like Reno, it's a dead card until you pretty much deck out.

Midrange is quite elegant though, it needs some skill even if it doesn't seem like it; but still boring.
I 'd suggest to pick Tempo Mage, because even though it's an autopilot deck too, it has a lot of flavour that will make your games interesting. New Patron is a lot of fun too.

Instead of using your hero power to gain a card to throw down your Giant sooner, you just GET another card after playing on of the new ones.

So now instead of screwing yourself over by HP'd away 2 health with no miniion to play, you now get a relatively shitty minion that gives you an extra card that servers the hero power purpose
