You know, I just realized the narrative brilliance of Action Cards in ARC-V.

You know those highly situational cards that characters used in previous shows that had pithy, but ultimately helpful effects for that turn and never showed up later; many of which were never actually made into real game components and you wouldn't want them to because they would be impractical outside of that one specific scripted scenario?

Action Cards can act as those plot devices, allowing the characters to stack their decks with (mostly) real cards.
