The only thing we've got this year now is Xenoblade X, which does look fun, but also incredibly lengthy. They had Super Mario Maker, but that was two months ago.

I heard there's still some games that haven't been announced, like a Twilight Princess HD, but it seems strange to me that there are games that have gone unannounced. In any case, DLC, like, you know, for Smash, would be some sort of incentive. A big game update, a new mode, to commemorate the ballot winner or something.

How do I get more consistent? I feel like I have really good peaks and can beat all the best players at my locals but at the same time I feel like I can lose to nobodies.

Turn off all explosives cause they can spawn on you.
That includes all containers.


I personally turn off kukoos and beehives for personal taste and master balls to give more randomness to the poke balls, but you don't have to when it's your turn to choose the items.

Learn how to catch the gyro, and keep it in your hands.
Most R.O.B. players panic when their gyro gets taken (it's a extremely important part of R.O.B.'s playstyle)

If you want to get good, mastering item play is necessary.
learn how to do aerials while holding items, get good at JC tossing etc

Laser only comes out once every 3 seconds, and many people do laser > gyro or gyro > laser

Just predict when they're gonna do it and powershield.

But all of this is easier said than done.

OoS is just up b which is pretty strong and eventually kills, but can be outspaced and punished. Kill setups mostly include jab 1>fsmash and fair offstage>b reversed up b (not sure how true that is though). Dancing Blade up variant and up throw both eventually kill if you're really struggling. Or you could play Marth and flick the c-stick when they're in tipper range and kill at 40% if you want.

I was all over PM from 1.0 all thru 3.5, but after Apex 2015 didn't have it, and nintendo were kinda jerks about it, it lost alot of hype for me and those around me, then it just kinda faded away and we went back to Melee. It's not the controllers' fault, it's Brawl's. No matter how much editing PMdevs do they will never be able to get rid of the input delay without completely rewriting the game, which won't happen. i've been practicing with Ike on FG recently and strangely the best person I found was a fucking DH who actually knew his options. Most rollers and spam fags are easy to counter because they always do the same moves and think they are safe spamming shit from afar when they are easy to read and act accordingly.

Unless you are playing with characters that are too slow like Ganondorf or have no way to approach like Kirby, the typical FG player is literal shit. Anyways, you can always quit every single match to find a better/different opponent until you find someone decent enough.

That's the thing, I decided to try out FG today and almost every single person who was actually trying to fight me did nothing but run away and roll around. If they didn't do that they had unplayable lag (some girl had full second input lag against me and taunted me when I SD'd to get out of it) or was deliberately messing around pretending to be Alpharad.

It just reminded me why I stopped going there.
