He enrages when you get him out of the ocean.
The ocean counts as all the area above and below the actual ocean, so you can go up and down all you like.
Also, he doesn't shoot bubbles anymore, someone fucked the code up.
I don't know how to go about it, I haven't gotten there yet, but those are the differences I can remember.

Try placing traps
Lava and traps from the jungle temple+a platform up in the air where you can raid down death on the pesky twats.
Maybe try getting the nurse's house near the place with platform roof so it's easily accesible.
Nimbus rod.
Lot of potions,heart lamterns,stars in bottles and camfires.
Summon a minion.
Even one can make a difference.
Get a spider queen staff or the frost hydra.
Vampire knives if you are desperate.
You want to maximalize the sources of damage so you mow down as many enemies as possible.

I don't know about meteorite farming.
Try spider queen staff.
It should be good enough for the time being.
Long platform.
And a heart statue with a timer.
And start statue with timer.
Basically an arena with a life support system.
Make several platform stations like this with star and heart statues so you can get hearts/stars whenever you need them.
Explosive ammo for megashark or clorothype ammo.
Hellfire arrows.
Wings are necessary.
Make the arena big.
So big that you don't see the mourning wood.

If you're doing it like that, make a counter top from platforms and a different kind of wall at the height of the cabinet. Your terrace needs a support pillar, and your roof needs an attic inside of it. Also your house doesn't have windows at all, put some windows with curtains and flowers and whatnot.

What are you trying to build?

I would highly suggest changing those torches for candle's (I forgot, those large posts with a candle on it)

Also, on that hallway, I would use normal wood walls for the gray brick wall above the current torches and the floor itself. Just carefull to not ruin the window

Since its underground, those blank/air spaces in the hallway would be filled with a Waterfall/Lavafall Wall, while also painting them in black

Well, a plan is always required for a building. Right now, it looks like an ordinary underground house with a hallway. You could think deeper with simple stuff. A hallway could lead into X place, X place could have Y stuff. BUT WAIT! Turns out that X place contains a secret! A GIANT ROBOT (an example)

What are some things that I can top poles with that aren't background material (like fenceposts)? I need some material that looks good, that isn't just a _ platform. Something that looks more rounded or decorative or whatever. I need it because I have a |-|-|-| fence with a wall directly above it which clips the natural fencepost endings, and I need to top alternating posts with something so that they're more like T-T-T instead.

Twins are just a load of kiting. Knock out the laser one first, that optical barf is fucking annoying. The Flamethrower one is a cinch on an asphalt platform with boots on. Try to get some Sunflowers for it too, for a little extra speed.
