Whichever you prefer. Fairly certainly sub is strongest, but combat does well against AoE.
You're best off learning two or all of them and playing whichever you enjoy or results in the most damage.
But be willing to switch based on circumstance. There's a rogue in my guild who only plays combat and she's great against trash and mob-heavy fights but barely sits above the tanks on most boss fights.

It might take a while and some gold investment to get garrison missions profitable, since you'll want the level 3 inn and as many treasure hunter followers as possible.

But old raids are pretty profitable, especially if you can sell attractive transmog gear you get from it on the AH, but that's just extra.

Kill lots of adds, regardless, that's where the big money is at.

I seriously hope they don't have any kind of gold making tied to whatever Garrison shit they pull in Legion.

I main 4 characters and run full Treasure Hunter Garrisons on all of them, including min-maxed Shipyards and pet selling. I know nobody forces you to do it at all, but when the gold is this good you sort of feel compelled to do it purely for the gold.

So, get every class to 100 and gold cap on at least 3 of them before legion, on a fresh server.

Challenge start.

It's not the problem. The problem is you feel compelled to log in every day managing missions, rerolling traits etc, which just gets incredibly boring. Not in a million years would I do it if it didn't give you huge amounts of gold, and I'm 100% there is not a single player who would bother doing any kind of min-max if it wasn't for the gold.

The methods change, but it doesn't sound like they are addressing the issue which is that the reason Garrisons are successful in their eyes is the amount of gold people are making. Doesn't matter if I manage 3 champions instead of 25 if the time and min-max system is still the same and it has a monetary reward.

What they should do is make it account-wide, so whatever progress you have automatically applies to all your characters and they all share everything.

I've been happily playing my shadow priest with a staff for quite some time. Occasionally I'd use a dagger if it had significantly better stats, but I'd always end up with a staff and be happy.

Blizzard is forcing me to never equip a staff because no other weapons will exist or none will be comparable to the artifacts or viable.

Sure, I could quit.. nobody is holding a gun to my head but they are still FORCING me to use a dagger for the entire expansion. Quitting the game would be an escape however that doesn't mean they're not forcing daggers on me.

But innovation is borne from limitation. A restricted set of choices isn't necessarily a bad thing and if you choose not to find something new for yourself then you're just going to be upset for way longer than you need to.

Blizzard is forcing players to be stuck with one kind of weapon for the entire Legion expansion, or forcing them to reroll class/spec.

i understand its not breaking any rule, i just find it to be a little dirty, given that most of the players who buy them are (or people make them feel) incapable of killing a boss on a given difficulty, or achieving gold in cms.

from an initial standpoint, it feels like top end raiding / cm guilds (yes cm guilds do exist) are giving back to the wow community by offering these services but its more of a quick cashgrab to exploit players into buying them. these guilds clear content insanely quickly and usually start selling runs a month or two after the content has been released (with the exception of cms), and some players with a decent amount of gold dont feel the urge to spend however long it will take to complete the task but instead choose to buy the service. you'll always get players attempting to justify why they bought it but most of the time its because they couldnt be fucked, because its so much easier to buy it as opposed to attempting it themselves. if the service wasnt there, it would encourage more players to run cms, to clear heroic hfc ect.

it looks like i come across as being really salty but ive been in these types of guilds so im not someone who cant complete the content and/or have no gold, i just feel like the community would be more active if carries werent being sold. players would also strive to become better instead of giving up and buying the shit later on

Yeah, you can farm BB guards all the way to exalted nowadays, from what I hear anyway. Your rep with all the four factions is going to tank really hard though and you gotta farm them back up without touching the Bloodsail faction in STV. Tanaris should still work for that.
