Wrapping up pacifist when it seemed like chara was just an innocent child it was so heartbreaking how she fell ill and Asriel died trying to return his best friends body and all the heartache and misfortune it brought to the underground

But then it turns out the human child was a psychotic cunt forcing the neutered goat into a suicide pact. Absolutely none of the bittersweet tragedy remains. Huge fumble in my opinion, devalued most of the impact for me.

Even after genocide, I still couldn't see Chara as anything but some really fucked up kid that tried to help in the absolute worst way possible and that the real villain was me for taking their ghost and turning it into a demon.

It seems like he could kill you pretty easily even without powering up but he never does, it seems like he could kill a bunch of monsters in the underground if he felt like it but he never does, it seems like he could/would manipulate more people but he never does, etc. So I'll just pretend that for some reason he won't because whatever (and he seems vaguely content with the 'happy' ending anyway).
