Looks like the "story" is a shooting star smashes the app into your phone, and a bunch of guys come out of nowhere to explain why this bizarre event has happened. Then you set up your guy and get going.
No event yet, beginners event is "coming soon". 3 gachas, one's "coming soon", one's paid (similar to NP Gacha), the other uses in-game money. You start off with enough for six 10-plays, which is nice, and it has some pretty cool stuff in it.[/spoilers]

Well, try not to be monochrome, it's okay for head accessories to be of a different color so long as they are complementary, and try to match color tone e.g. pastels with pastels. I find that the body outfit tends to dictate the tone and colors you are limited to.

Honestly, there's not much to say give one is usually just matching two accessories to an outfit. Face accessories provide some additional options, and can provide a splash of color, but you can't really build an outfit around them. Back and other accessories are usually scenery. Try to not jave the scenery be the exact same color as the outfit. Contrasr is good.

Can anyone tell how much more hard it is to get top 100 for final ranking? I assume it's a breeze if you get the x3 plus keep the x2, but I didn't roll another tie up so far and the midway took way more drinks than I'd like. 2 full ones and like a dozen mini drinks. Was my strategy in keeping just above rank 100 after the first few days correct, or is it less drinks to suddenly shoot up rankings the last couple of days if fever is lucky?

Strat should be use the least amount of stamina possible to keep yourself from getting to full, then splurging whenever you get a fever. Doesn't matter when you use energy drinks as long as you try to max out charm before using any. With as close to maxed charm (including outfits and snacks), and the 2x tie up, that should keep you above 100 until the last day or so before the midway ranking is calculated. Then you drink spam on a fever and hope no one else does the same.

The real strategy is to hoard tickets and coupons to get the 2x and 3x in the first place, as they're pretty much necessary to get even close to 100.

The fact that clothes like that exist at all is probably enough incentive to get people rolling. Not to mention the Mix gacha has roughly even rates on everything, so it's not as bad as say if the nicer newer clothes are rarer. According to that chart it takes 48 hours and 40 minutes to get the early clear, but you only have 48 hours. The stamina recovery is 4 minutes per point again, so that means one drink is essentially 6 hours and 40 minutes' worth of stamina. Therefore you only need one drink. I missed a lot of stamina so I can't actually confirm, but that's just how the math goes.

The problem that the guy doing the rip is probably running into is the fact that the rip is based on something of a hack.

To make proper partial/gradient transparency, from the original item, requires having the original drawing. Instead, what we get is two images with a set background. We get the original alpha channel just fine, but what we don't have is the original image that alpha channel was applied to.

If the image AMB uses has a gradient alpha that is colored in not black or white, then it's impossible to do correctly. The partial transparency is blended with whatever color background we have to use to rip the image, and so the edges of the ripped item will take on that color instead of it's original color, leading to apparent edges.

tl;dr: Black jaggies or white jaggies, that's the only choice.
