That games lifespan is even shorter. Everything about it is laid out and established; there's no room for fan OCs, interpretations or wonder. Freddy's is a universe, Undertale is a play. You'll never find stuff like Weaver, Ghost, Benis or GMF fan universes there because there's simply no room for different interpretations. It's all laid out and that's going to get old real fucking fast.

There's very little to talk about right now, since Scott basically going silent and Halloween was kind of a bust (softened by his tempering expectations.)

4 came out in 7/2015. World is very likely coming out in 1/2016, maybe February depending on how long he stops working to spend time with his family.

We're in the dry spell hump. And this gen doesn't want to be super popular to begin with, given that we've cringed when faced with the wider fandom.

Undertale had more hype before it released because Toby already had an existing fanbase made up of the Homestuck crowd due to his previous work with Hussie and I heard as a rumor that he had a marketing team aggressively shill it everywhere vidya-related to help make it viral.. Scott on the other hand is/was a literal nobody whose fame was more incidental that it caught on with the memescreamers of youtube.

And to be honest, I think Scott is now trying to milk the franchise by turning it cute because he knows that the lasting appeal after the screamers got a hold of it has been making the robots cute or funny. As one of the more tolerable of the fanodm hubs, even we have a 95% cute/humor/porn - 5% spooks ratio. From the Dangle pic I know it will probably have a dark twist or something, but I think Scott himself is now aware of the kind of content 3/4 of his fans make. Fingers crossed.

The rooster is Rusty, he's the mascot of Rusty's Ranch, which sells chicken and farm themed foods. It's a family restaurant for kids and adults and was created by a kindly old man in the image of things like Chick Fil A, KFC, Steak Escape, etc. The chicken tries to kill you at night as per the usual. Whether or not he's evil is up to you to find out, but I will say that I wanted him to look like a jerk.

But the poll isn't for the rooster, the thread voted on him a while back, his name is Rusty. Rusty's Best Friends(TM) are Benny Boar and Clyde Coyote.

It's fairly brief, only 11 pages, I try to keep chapters shorter these days since I had a lot of complaints in the past over 40-60 page stories at a time. The tone is... well, I'll leave that up to reader interpretation. When I gave a teaser of chapter 1 there were a few conflicting ideas of just what the tone was, just like with Toying With You, something that I greatly enjoyed to see.

I really hope you guys enjoy, there aren't many stories about the Nightmare Animatronics, and I encourage any form of critique, suggestions, or response, good or bad.

After considering the blatant design flaws such as "not ripped enough" and "benis is better", I decided to modify my concept of purple so that way both people that hate benis and people that love benis will enjoy it. Due to our sweet prince's departure I have decided to reboot the benis. However instead of going for shitty concepts such as "too edgy" I have used all the artistic liberties I could buy for $3.50 and have upgraded purple goy's previous design. I am quite sure that due to popular demand this will be a hit with the kids.

Gave it a reread and though my favorable review still stands, Foxy seems like he's not doing his best to hold onto his spooky ways. I got the sense both from the other Nightmares and the way Foxy behaved that he's more scared to change yet is wistful for his fellows. I only caught one typo which was "rebuild" instead of "rebuilt" when the protaganist mentioned the damage to the floor. Still looking forward to the rest of the story and hope you don't get discouraged from seeming lack of interest.

The bright colored camera sprite sorta blends in with the white floor, and there are some squares where wall corners are missing (see inside the vents). Also the doors don't seem consistent to me, sometimes they're in front of the walls, other times not.
