I really like Dirge of Cerberus but it has no CHURAAAZHY action. I don't think it's nearly as bad as people make it to be, however. But I heard they fixed some stuff for the EU release, so maybe there's that. I remember being hyped as fuck when Vincent finally summoned the Death Penalty. The extra missions unlocked when finishing the game were fun too, added a lot of content. But Caith Sith missions where you have to fight can just go burn.

It was a pretty huge boost.
I think the way I started into this allowed me to benefit the most.

Got my Shellga, Protectga, all those fucking -ga elemental hones, stopga, carbuncle and can craft and hone at least one breakdown now.
Its pretty great.

Also got a fuckton of characters to 50/65. Even shitty ones like Black/White mage, Tyro and the Summoner.
Cloud is also on his way to 70. Got multiple casters and range users at 50/65.
Getting back into the actual game will be hilarious. I'm just at 81 stamina so I should be able to plow through the normal dungeons at mega speeds.

I did. If you have >100 stamina you should definitely do it. Using 5 mythril in refreshes for the Orb Fest is WAY more efficient than wasting it in a relic draw.
Think about it this way: we get 480 stamina per day. If you have 100 stamina (you probably have more), using 5 mythril you get extra 500 stamina, which means getting an extra day of Orb Farming. Pretty amazing.

My Cloud hit for over 3k damage per hit in the ++ fight in the Terra event with Boost and a natural 5* synergy weapon without Advance. That's pretty good if your hones aren't great.

White mage rm II is useless in ++ and +++ fights and mostly pointless in dungeons until you get to the point where you need to actively heal and use mitigation for trash. If you're still relying almost exclusively on Retaliate, you're not at a point where you need Concentration II and if you're just using Retaliate for specific ++ or +++ fights you don't need Concentration II. I never claimed double hit is optimal, but for fights where you're retaliating and you don't have a good soul break for your white mage, it's not bad. If you don't have optimal gear and good hones, double hit is good.

I wish they would re-release it as a standalone game. With the trust magic system its perfectly soloable for the most part. I just want to enjoy the game and its story at my own pace, without this damn fee taunting me.
