You can't go anywhere in an area as a support without getting spammed with party invites after level 30.

Sometimes I'm just walking somewhere or waiting for someone, or maybe I just want you to say Hi to me in chat before you just start shooting invites out.

Well, playing Archer, so far it's difficult but not as people make it out to be. Been playing mostly solo, doing fine

Went C1 Archer, now almost C3 Ranger. Putting everything into STR, took enough DEX to have 40 crit rate without other buffs. Got 10 CON because why not - 2k HP is decent. Will roll with Rogue, will report how it goes later.

To suck less, don't go C3 Archer, unless you're a masochist. That path is more PvP oriented anyway. Max Barrage ASAP and get it's mastery to ~10 if you can afford it. You'll be pretty much 1 shotting packs and farming easily. Don't get Steady Aim - you'll need points for other skills. Stack SP pots - auto attacks kinda suck, you gotta spam skills a lot

Do you have to relearn all attributes if you use a skill reset scroll?

Alright, breakdown of why Rodelero is weak.


Firstly, they have trash damage. I wasn't expecting much from a class that uses a shield, but they have comparable damage to a Peltasta (which is to say, none). This is an issue when you consider all they have is damage dealing abilities.
Second and more importantly, they have lots of really bad CC. A 1 second long stun, with a 2 second delay after using it. Darkness for 3 seconds, which literally doesn't do anything to NPCs (it makes your screen black, NPCs don't have a screen). And a 1.5 second ability that makes enemies unable to attack. The problem with these is just the durations are way too short, or they don't do enough.

They have one good ability, and one ability that might be useful later on.
Shield Charge is hilarious. Completely trash damage, but fun none the less.
Shield Push could potentially be good. The defence reduction is noticeable even at level 1 (with is -15 defence). At level 5 it will probably give you people a decent damage buff. Too bad it's duration is short and it's not guaranteed to work on bosses.

I'm trying to figure out how you'd make this class work. And I cannot see a way. They need some major buffs.

I'm not sure how the targeting works on this thing, it seems to just do whatever it wants. It costs almost no SP and does good damage though. Would wiz 3 into Thaumaturge be a stupid idea? Quickcast elementalist spells seems like the obviously good thing, but I'm also curious if a Con+Spirit build with high leveled reflect shield and Thaum spells could work as a supporty type thing.

Mage classes do plenty of damage, it's just harder to do because it's not "sit and face tank the boss while you autoattack xDDD" like barb is.

Mages require careful positioning, which is difficult when lag means every action can take 10-15s.
