It did a fantastic job at making every fucking character relatable, charming, fun, playful. It makes you love them and want to see them happy so badly.
Everyone I know who played this game, including myself, started out pretty "meh" for a little bit, and by the end were crying our eyes out. I haven't been able to do genocide, and only one of my friends managed to start and caved at Papyrus.

I thought Mettaton Neo was a pretty cool part of the Genocide run, but nobody ever talks about his fight, even if it is pretty short and lackluster. I tried to improvise some parts as well, but it may seem a bit sloppy because of this.

That Chara awakening in Frisk happens in any playthrough, and that depending on what you do throughout your run, thats what Chara learns its purpose to be. Genocide leads to Chara believing his purpose is power, while True Pacifist leads to Chara believing her purpose to be redemption. When you fight Asriel, Chara is there too, wracked with guilt over what they did to their brother. Also, when Frisk is being a pacifist and has to fight Asgore and Flowey, Chara is backing up Frisks attacks so they actually do damage.

But asgore already knows about the resetting, you tell him how many times he's killed you before and he nods. This however begs the question does asgore realize that the fight itself is unwinnable from his perspective since if the player doesn't beat the fight or find the solution he'll just reset it and try again? Asgore must know that his only option at that point in the game is to die.
Another question this brings up is maybe the solution to progressing past the true pacifist ending is to do it all without dying once and resetting the game, no saves, no loading no killing. Has anyone done a run like that yet?

I have the steak, which heals for 60. instant noodles for 90, and 6 legendary heroes for 40. The most I've done to him is get to where he says "..... you don't know when to quit" something like that. he takes 22 attacks to get to his special and if survive it an extra 2 attacks with the last one actually being a hit.
