I'm so fucking sick of the Puyo Puyo "community." They constantly shit talk this game and scorn Tetris players, whereas this many years later I still can't believe how cool of a crossover this is and that for the most part it actually works. These fucking "competitive" Puyo shitters will have you believe that the game is an abomination and that absolutely no one should get it, while begging that other Puyo Puyo games get localized to boot. Damned ingrates. It's a marriage of two of the most beloved puzzle games of all time and Puyo fuckers insist that it would be better with Tetris removed. Coming from a childhood of heavily playing both games, it's a dream come true. These fuckers should shut the fuck up and just stick to playing their shitty netplay emulations. I fucking love this game. The story mode is so charming, voices are generally great. But hell I need to get good. I'm decent at tetris since I can at least pull off tetris back to back, but I really need to practice puyo more. My strategy is get 3 colors together, then do that over and over then eventually pop and hope I get a good chain.
