I played VII all the way to platinum, somewhere around 130 hours. It was my first Neptunia.

I guess i just got bored of the mechanics/aesthetics of the series. It felt like there was something missing a lot of the time, too. None of the characters were particularly likeable to me (read, not bad characcters, just didnt like them). Doesnt mean I think it was a bad game, just bored of Neptune for now.
