Lots of good games have framerate problems. The best games in the action genre have framerate problems.

It's good when you master the parry system, but most levels kind of suck.
Cainhurst, early Yahar'gul and Hemwick Charnel Lane are the only really enjoyable locations in the base game, whereas every level in the DLC was good.

I truly believe it wasn't a great game until the DLC was released.

From Software played to their strengths and it worked out for them. If you played Ku-on or Echo Night Beyond you can see they're pretty good at creating a dark atmosphere for a variety of genres.

I actually enjoyed a lot of chalice dungeons tho they had some shitter tier enemies like the fucking hellhounds or rooms where they spam those big centipede like guys that shoot fire balls.
Overall pretty enjoyable. I don't see why most people don't like them.

Chalice dungeons are unironically one of my favourite aspects of the game. I fucking love dungeon crawling. I just wish it were easier to sustain constant creation of fresh dungeons. I also wish that the dungeons had a bit more variety.

Bloodborne is good anon, but yeah the PS4 has a couple of other games worth playing on it. I do feel like BB is a little over hyped here on /v/, but I can say I really liked it. It's probably not better than Demon's Souls for me, but whatever.
