2 was better in some was (rezzing being added in was 50 / 50), wookie getting motion detector grenades was nice too.

Destruction was somewhat decreased. That desert map they later added into BC2....I had so many mines go off from defending tanks that I could take cover from snipers in the giant crates (and sometimes couldn't even get out from them again)

Story was BC1 all the way

What was your favorite rush and conquest map? For me it was ascension and acta non verba. I absolutely love the hazy, foggy, grim looking maps in this game. The effect and overall grainy filter look extremely sharp and gave the game a timeless look imo

MOTHERFUCKING Oasis, followed by End of the Line and Harvest Day because of the sandbox feel those maps had.

Though to be honest, every single map was good, even something like over and out felt alive compared to the soulless maps of BC2.

I was mad when I played the Oasis remake in BC2, fuckers made an open playground a fucking corridor.

Honestly I played oasis so much I actually got tired of it. I preferred final ignition as the desert map. Was sad that the BC2 remake sucked out all the color and introduced a blue tint...over a brown desert. What makes them all memorable imo is despite mostly taking place in russian countryside, there is a huge variation with the housing and general land structure as well as house placement. Ascension and over and out are smaller more crowded places with lots of houses and destruction. End of the line and harvest day are giant fields, either farm land or plains with forests and bays and neighborhoods. Then theres individual unique ones like valley run which is a straight up forest with no verticality or deconstruction where a bunch of unfinished buildings and towers and pipelines thrown together making it feel like a real scrapyard. Game is just pretty and comfy in a lot of places. The campaign has so many eye candy moments with all the rolling green hills. Ive been replaying it on xbox one and just getting screenshots and videos of roaming around the country side

The online totally works still. Conquest seems to be dead. Can always find a rush game going thats usually at 20+ players. No idea what its like on PS3. Im gonna play it more after beating the campaign

Why no pc version for bc1? I genuinely enjoyed the single player
