Not as good as D2. Not as good as other games on the market like PoE and GD. Blizzard barely supports it except when they're releasing classes that were already in D2 as a $15 DLC.

It was a hot mess at release. Currently, it's a fine successor to D2, and people who disagree are looking at endless baal runs through rose tinted glasses.

I liked it enough to beat it on PS4. I think it's fun.

If you're still itching for a Diablo after this, try Path of Exile. In a lot of ways, it's a better Diablo than D3.

Diablo 2 is still online and kicking. My buddy and I still play it every once in a while. I'm sure you could get D2 and LoD for under $10, but yeah I'd recommend getting it.

I've played it and I didn't care for it much, just felt way too similar to D2 like you mite as well play that instead, D3 presentation and production values is also way higher which makes it a bit more immersive.

It's not Diablo game, completely different atmosphere much more similar to WoW. Also, story in D3 is probably one of the worst I've ever experienced in my life.
