I found Diablos and Monoblos more annoying in Freedom than Plesioth. Hip check was annoying, but Diablos would just keep charging you and not give you a chance to get up and dodge the next charge.

I would a lot of Grahf, Mazereon, and ChromeDeathRazor's vids, but what really helped me improve was the arena. The arena was done much better for the freedom series imo. I wish they would go back to that, as well as the farm.

The idea that more recent MH games are easier is sort of untrue and sort of true. What people can't seem to grasp is the games are indeed easier overall up to end game where from 4U to present you have retarded as fuck quests where everything one or twoshots you with end game gear and there's probably a gimmick like stones/hyper/whatever. I mean fuck, silver and gold together solo without flash bombs is complete fucking bullshit in the recent titles even with all of the insane buffs they give you.

Personally, I'm a fan of the more moderate approach where monsters get tougher by moveset/speed/whatever but still have to say, 3-4 shot you. In return, you have to fight them without as many crutches.
