I spent 5 hours having fun modding my modded guns with custom mods on a modded workshop bench, but it indeed occurs to me that I literally wasn't even interacting with the actual game at that point in any capacity.

If you wanted to switch the focus from RPG mechanics onto an FPS with the illusion of choice then fine, but at least make sure your shit works properly.

>have to deliberately keep the defense on your settlements low in order to get attacks because it would be too much fun to watch as raiders get torn to pieces by your turrets and assigned defenders
>legendary enemies just recover HP and glow whenever they mutate instead of just turning into abominations or growing deathclaw arms/other cool mutations
>the Institute only means of defense are synths and coursers, when they could have been given modified assaltrons/sentry bots/deathclaws

I cannot browse NexusMods for FO4 because most mods i see seem like they are adding stuff that should have been in the game in the first place, i think i might have spent longer modding the game lately than actually playing it
