Wind Waker and Persona 5 have far more embarrassing moments. At first I thought the card thing was an middle or endgame puzzle, but it's the first thing you interact with after walking up some stairs 10 seconds after the game starts. It's a tutorial teaching newbies buttons. It may be too handholdy, but idiots and beginners can't even clear shit like Cuphead's tutorial without problems.

Wind Waker's candle puzzle is way more insulting because it's fucking endgame.

I do realize why many would like it. But I don't hate the game for contrarian sake.

It's a great game, unfortunately released as a sequel to a much, much better game, and further unfortunately hyped as one of the best games.

It keeps leading you on to the idea that there may be more going on (like with all of Catherine's comments about how violent you are, one expects that to matter, but no, you're just hyper violent like everything else); it keeps pretending like it's setting is in anyway interesting when it is as developed as a fucking cartoon (all the bad guys are old timey racists so you know they are bad!! kill em!!).

The guns are fine. The characters are forgettable. The story is forgettable. The twist was underwhelming. The art was fine. The gameplay was repetitive. The maps were dull. The railplay gimmick dies fast.

just fucking play the original bioshock and try to find anyway whatsoever that it is not superior
