If you have multiple controllers, green can mean you're playing with the second or third controller.

Some specific games change the lights colour on the fly though, so if it only does this in-game then it's probably just something the game does. I think The Last of Us uses it to show your health roughly (changing to redder the more hurt you are) but I'm not certain.

Yea I have 2 controllers, but the other one is off and after reading a bit online, it seems that the green represents my in game health bar. So I think you're right. Plus, this is the only game it's ever done this in

I agree. I wish Sony put a bigger battery in the DS4 controller as opposed to the garbage trackpad and light show. My 360 controller lasts 2 months using lithium ion based AA's. My brand new out of the box, used for a total of 14 hours it's entire life DS4 gets around 5 hours

Yakuza Ishin has the bar flash when you get spotted by a group of enemies

Infamous had the colors change with whatever powers you had, I think, and also when you did the spray paint thing
