whew lads, I'm glad steam doesn't let any more garbage games through greenlight
Xbox Live Arcade has absolutely no shovelware or indie games. At all.
but that game looks good

cigarettecucks will never know this feel for their entire 30-year shorter lives

Why care? No one is forcing to buy this crap. Instead it's a good thing when anyone can publish their own game, or in this case shit.
>>389768613
The problem has always been Valve's lack of quality control. The only time they bother doing anything is when something so outrageous happens that it becomes a widespread meme, especially if it's on reddit. Otherwise they don't give a shit.
Steam Direct is no different from Steam Greenlight, the only difference is that Valve gets more cash up front.

Valve doesn't allow anything through Greenlight because it doesn't exist
You now pay 100$ per game you release and it gets automatically released after a month and a very minor review to make sure it runs and is what you say it is. You get the 100$ back after it's sold like 1000$ or something.
Quality of games isn't an issue.
The issue is the ability to search games and refund games that aren't what people say they are.
This looks good. Thanks for telling me about it, OP.

If you're the creator, post some damn keys or in your next shill thread. I saw this same picture posted before in another thread.
I'll tell people about it if I had it and it's not complete garbage.
What engine is it made in?
>>389768613
>nazi frog game
I thought hate speech was against the steam direct tos
>>389775207
Greenlight required $100 anyways and it didn't stop shit too.
>>389768950
You don't look cool when vaping, though.
>>389776404
Green light was 100$ one time fee and you could release as many games as you'd like
The new system is
>$100 per game that gets refunded when you reach a sales threshhold
>cards/emoticons/etc are unlocked after a certain sale threshhold
>and it didn't stop shit too.
That was never a goal.
The goal was to limit people who were creating games for the purpose of selling steam store items and leveling accounts with them.
Valve has stated repeatedly that they do not want to curate quality and instead want to provide users with the tools to filter games to find what they want.
To repeat what I just said in a different way, STEAM IS NOT A MARKETING PLATFORM. IT IS A PLATFORM FOR SELLING YOUR GAME, NOT FOR FINDING YOU CUSTOMERS
Anyone who can't understand this is literally retarded

Lots of people say they get short of breath for a bit after vaping heavily. Not nearly as bad as smoking, but it's still there.
I'm probably just responding to a troll post but just wanted to put that out here. We're not really built to handle inhaling anything except clean air, and it's a bit disconcerting that some people act like vaping is the perfect solution to everything when there's still normal pollution to worry about.
>>389777108
>getting mad because you don't know how steam works or what valve as a company is trying to do and solve because you're a memer who just goes along with the 'omg the games are shit' garbage that r/gaming spews because their mad that steam sales aren't really a big thing anymore due to asshole countries like Australia and EU countries (((protecting))) their customers
>>389777616
it's smoke, of course it has negative effects
why would people vape if it didn't have some effect?
anything you breath in repeatedly that isn't normal clean air is going to harm you in some way
