Well its apparent that the second POTD isnt really for leveling since it would only cover 10 levels if even that. Yoshi made it out to be some kind of savage tier content for 4 man groups and it would have new methods for progressing depending on the floor unlike before where you just needed kills. Hopefully its rewarding and not something that you just do once for an achievement.
